It was located about 10mins walk from the Ximen station. You can use google maps to find it. It was on the 9th floor of a building. The rooms were clean. They have hot n cold shower. You can order some food from them but they don't have the breakfast option. The staff were nice, I thought I lost my key card together with my passport, but they said it was okay. The building was in the middle of restaurants, coffee and milk tea shops and the shopping district.
The hotel is an old bulding, the Family room we stay without windows, just balcony only but is spacious clean & within the pedestrian area of Ximending. Near MRT, very convenient, reasonable price.Receptionists are friendly and helpful.,free refill water. Worth to stay

it is very accessible for shops and the MRT station. Although the building is kind of old. Their staffs are very accommodating and friendly.
The Hotel offers unlimited drinks too.
After a disappointed try out at a hostel in Taichung with higher price, we arrived in this hotel totally satisfied with its spacious and clean room! Easy to find, looks new and renovated. Our family room is even cheaper than some 4-bed hostels. Free refill water, or coffee/ tea at its cafe nearby. Buffet breakfast is no frill, we bought our own food to eat there on 3rd day. Ximending is just downstairs, with plenty of convenience stores just a minute away. Worth to stay and coming back.
The hotel is located within the pedestrian area of Ximending. The check in counter is on the 9th floor. With the same price we paid, head to Hankou branch (just another two minutes walk). The elevator lifts are smelly.
Contractor is working on a renovation work in the building (not part of the hotel). The hotel shares the lift with other local residents. You won't hear the renovation noise but you find difficulty to get a lift to go downstairs/upstairs. Please check with hotel if you mind such work around during your stay.
Receptionists are friendly and helpful. The room is not so clean when you find cockroach lying around on the ceiling and ants running on the floor. The room has no soundproof at all. You can hear next door talking, or taking a bath. When your neighbour argue early morning, please do not expect you can get good sleep.
Buffet Breakfast is served at Hankou branch. Chinese style breakfast with porridge and lots of veggies. You can also find french fries, sausages and toasts at the breakfast counter. Various teas and coffees for you to choose from, and it is free.
