Enjoy the sweet potato ball and taro ball in hot or with ice in front of the ocean view. The balls are handmade with selected veggies. Would always have a bowl of it whenever I come to the area

阿柑姨芋圓 is the most famous taro ball in Taiwan. 九份 is famous for its taro balls and traditional architecture style. You have to walk a lot to get to this store, but it's definitely worth it. You can have a good view there because it's on the mountain. The taro balls there are fresh made everyday. Its taro balls are really al dente. It's really special! I recommend everyone to give it a try because of its Q taro balls.

Well. Toro balls taste relatively ok. But honestly it may not worth the queue for it if there is a queue. The shop owner should probably really consider to do up his seating place ... Is rather run down :(

Chewy yam balls! Go for the cold version!

mixed in are sweetened red beans which accentuate the flavour of the modest bowl of yam balls!

after ordering, walk through some maze to a sit-down area where you can have a great view of the surrounding scenery!

Must-try in Chiufen!

Cheap and refreshing dessert on a hot sunny day, although there was a short queue. Taro balls were chewy and firm with no weird aftertaste.
