Lovely wee cafe. Friendly staff, good food, very reasonably priced. Water jugs were put on tables without asking. The food was very tasty. I recommend the paninis.
Lovely location and decor. Some nice giftware on offer to buy at very reasonable prices too.

If you’re looking for all homemade produce then this is the place.

The Cullen skunk soup is to die for and all served with either oatcakes or homemade bread.

The white chocolate and blueberry scones were delicious and unusual.

Staff friendly, food served super quick and the prices so reasonable.

Will be visiting again

On the last day of our fantastic week long stay in Portmahomack we booked an afternoon tea at the Carnegie Hall Cafe. This was undoubtedly THE best afternoon tea we have ever had, which includes the one we had at the famous Betty’s in Ilkley, West Yorkshire. The table was beautifully set on our arrival. Pretty vintage china. And what a feast. As we are vegetarians all the sandwiches were vegetarian. Lovely fresh cream meringues, scones, tray bakes and a huge pot of tea. The staff are friendly and attentive and can’t do enough for you. All this for less than £10 a head! I can’t recommend it enough - you will not be disappointed!

Dropped for lunch, immediately charmed by the friendly welcome. We both had Cullen skink soup - totally wonderful. Finished with drinks, home made scone and cake, all fantastic. Definitely worth a visit, then take a stroll along the beautiful beach to walk it off afterwards.

What a gem of a place in an beautiful village. Wonderful food and the friendliest, most helpful staff we have encountered on our holiday. Very reasonably priced. Sat outside as we had our dog with us. Everyone should visit here if they are in the area. I could happily live in this village.
