Less crowded, equally fun.
Lots of good food and good price.
Just like the old Shilin market.
One long stretch, easy to walk.

This night market is small and most are food stalls. It is very much more for the locals. There is this very popular sesame chicken mee sua in the middle section that you should try. It is NT$110 for a small bowl mee sua and a bowl of Sesame Chicken. There is a long queue by around 6pm onwards. There are only few seats around the stall so may have to wait around for seats if you are there after 630pm. This is one of the food that one should try when you are here.
The other one is the Fried Oyster Omlette stall which is all the way at the end of the Nanya Night Market. You wont missed it as long queus will be formed as early as 6pm... These are 2 must try in the market.

So many delicious food stalls and a fair amount of vendors to choose from and less crowded then the more popular Shilin market that's full of tourists.
The lamb and chicken kebabs and chocolate brownie cake ice cream were fantastic and there's some unusual options for a quick snack.
There's also the usual funfair style games for younger children and a quirky old man on stilts!
It's not the biggest or most famous but worth a visit.
There are other things to do and see like Lin Family gardens (free) in the area.
It's not to far from Fuzhong MRT station. I got here on bus 99 from Far East Hospital MRT station.

This night market is close to MRT Fu-Chong station. You can visit Fu-Chong business district ,at the afternoon, and then walk there. This night market is gathering a lot of food vendors, and also some close store and game booth, like Ping Pong Toss or Knockdown. One of the most I would like to recommend is the chicken soup in sesame oil. This vendor is close the entrance of night market. It boil the chicken soup with two large size Chinese wok. The chicken cooked with not only sesame oil, but also some rice wine and ginger flakes. In the cold day, it would warm your body up right away. ps. it's too popular that you may have to stay in line for 40 min or more.
