The Hunter Gateway Motel was perfectly located for what we needed. At the end of a very busy day the close proximity to eating facilities was a very welcome addition. The room was clean and very comfortable. Rooms were made up each day accept Sunday which we found strange, but certainly was not an issue for us. We will certainly stay again should the need arise.More

Awesome soft bed clean room it was quiet and so so close to my works office and the lady that the office was very nice and happy and helpful I will be telling my friends and family about the motel and my work mates so they know a great place for their family

Stayed here for 3 nights over the Easter weekend as a family holiday after being house-bound with COVID and non-stop rain in Sydney. A generous motel room for the four of us to use as a base, conveniently located with most of the Hunter Valley destinations within 30 minutes drive.

We have stayed at the Hunter Gateway a number of times.The location is very convenient and the rooms are a good size. Reliable wifi is a bonus. The best thing however is the friendly staff - doesn't matter if they are the cleaners or the reception staff they are always friendly and nothing is a problem for them.

It was nice a quiet no problems with the car park and the car was safe the bathroom for me was great with the seat in the shower and the room was a great size for the wheelchair to get around inside thank you

They were incredibly accommodating for our guests, when planning our wedding nearby.
Not only did they reserve rooms for our guests when I contacted them months in advance, they continued to follow up and let us know when things were reaching capacity.
Very very accommodating. Especially when we needed extra accom due to flooding the day before!
