Wow!! Even more beautiful than we anticipated. Attention to every detail. We had 4 wonderful nights here, but didn't want to leave. The rooms were beautiful and very very clean. Our room had the most beautiful view. We celebrated our 50th Anniversary and arrived with a champagne surprise and fresh flowers. This beautiful villa will certainly exceed your expectations in every way.
Walking around the grounds you will constantly be amazed at the beauty around each corner. The Tuscan sunset on the terrace with a glass of wine is magical. We hurried back each day to make sure we could enjoy this beautiful view.
Villa di Piazzano was the highlight of our trip. I can't wait to return.
Thank you to the incredible hardworking staff that made sure we had impeccable service.

Villa di Piazzano is a lovely Tuscan villa, with beautiful views, historical building and charming, comfortable rooms.
The location is in a very quiet area and close enough to visit both Tuscany and Umbria (Montepulciano, Pienza, Siena, Perugia).
The thing that I liked the most was the beautiful patio where breakfast was served.
The staff was attentive and polite throughout our stay, the prices are reasonable for this kind of place but the food, altough good overall, was not always up to the expectations (for instance I found the fish to be bland).
However, I did not appreciate being charged for room service when I could not finish my dinner at the table, due to an indigestion (NOT caused by the meals served at the villa).
Nonetheless, I would love to come back again.

Room tip: September is the best month to visit Tuscany.

The hotel combines a perfect location with a tastefully restored former Cardinal's residence. Service is 5* and the staff are pleasant, engaging and always polite. Prices are high but staffing levels and service are also high. The restaurant is certainly capable although the wine and bar prices are more Milan than Umbria. We would certainly return to enjoy the grounds and an extremely well executed swimming pool.

Beautitully restored renaissance villa in a quiet natural Italian landscape ( = 360° nature). Large swimming pool in the style of the villa. Garden where you can sit down for hours to enjoy the silence and the vieuw on Cortona ( 5 km away). Italy as it should be ! Helpfull, friendly and motivated staff. Small family owned hotel with " hands on" philosophy and very nice food.

We have just come back from 4 wonderful days at the Villa Di Piazzano. It was magical from the moment we walked in the door. The staff were welcoming from every single encounter and went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of. The hotel itself is perfectly presented and honors the history of the building with tasteful modernisation. It is in a great location for lots of Tuscan adventures. Food was delicious on the lunches and dinners we dined in the hotel. We will most definitely be returning next summer! Thank you Alessandra and Jack
