Received a warm welcome with coffee & biscuits on arrival. The property is located on a quiet country lane with great views over the rolling fields. Car parking is off road behind a gated entrance, a little difficult reversing in the dark.
The facilities are pristine with separate lounge/dining area, with own tv and plenty of reading material. The bedroom was a very good size complete with double bed, plenty of storage and wardrobe space and all the facilities you could wish for. En-suite bathroom with excellent power shower is compact.
The breakfast is marvellous with lots of choices, piping hot locally sourced food and home made breads and jams.
John and Diana are lovely hosts and are very knowledgeable on the area and provide good recommendations on eating places which are in close proximity by car.
A very enjoyable two night stay.

Just returned from our third stay at Crooklands, and it's still as wonderful as our previous two visits. Diane and John always make us feel so welcome it feels like we are returning home every time we stay. The wonderful breakfast set us up for the day to complete the 3 peaks and the beautifully furnished and well equipped room makes our time spent here feel very relaxed and stress free. We look forward to returning again in the very near future.

Crooklands is in a stunning setting with fantastic views over to the Forest of Bowland, it is a beautiful house with many lovely feature and touches. Diane and John are superb hosts and serve a delicious breakfast, the fresh fruit salad and home made bread are both lovely ideas.

Room Tip: Both rooms have fantastic views , and the window seats make it easy to admire

Rarely on our trips have we had hosts who were as friendly, courteous, and willing to spend time with us as were Diane and John. They were wonderful hosts in a B&B that is lovely on the inside and the outside. Our stay was one of the coldest and windiest that we've ever had in the British isles at this time of year, but the grounds and the views of the Dales were so pretty that we had to spend some time outside. Inside there was tea, wonderful breakfast, comfortable rooms, and pleasant conversation.

Thanks so much for your gracious hospitality!
