An amazing resort. Just over-the-top decor and amenities. Great restaurants...each with a theme. Lots of pools, hammocks and beds everywhere. Great places to snack. The staff works very hard to make sure you have a great stay. They are good, hard working people who care about their guests. One story: our company wanted to put on a fancy dinner while we were there. They wanted everyone to dress up. I brought my suite. While getting ready on the night of the event, I realized I forgot to pack a tie. I asked our concierge, Armando, if the gift shop sold ties. No avail (I wouldn't think they would since most people would not need a tie while on vacation). I gave up. Twenty minutes before the event, Armando, shows up at our door with a tie. He was out of breath because he had ran out to an off-site store to find a tie. Saved the night. Lots of other kudos to all the staff. They made us special drinks and said "thank you" with a sand design on our towels. God is in the beauty of tropics and in the hearts and minds of this staff.

My wife and I were more than happy with the excellent experience we had at the resort on our anniversary visit. We were spoiled in every way. The restaurants were great and we were happy we decided on club level. It really added just that little extra.

This was our 5th time staying at an Excellence Resort and the 2nd time here at Playa Mujeres. Everyone took such great care of us from beginning to end! Tonathiu and Heidi are fabulous at the Sports Bar. Frankie, Martha and Marlon do a fabulous job getting you your drinks, food and towels at the pool by building 8. We highly recommend you just let your waiters and waitresses bring you their recommendations at dinner...we did this at Spice (Luis), Agave (Antonio), Magna (Lorena) and Toscana...adds so much to the dinner experience and they love it! There are many others that made this trip special...just can't remember all their names.

We were beyond pleased with Marlon the concierge at the Excellence club pool. We stayed for 5 days and everyday he made sure we did not go without. Frankie was our waiter, Martha was the bartender and Anselma was there too!! They always went Above and Beyond. We will be coming back very soon! They treated us like kings!
