PROs:
1. Hotel pick up was on time.
2. Hotel is quiet and looks nice but..
CONs:
1. Front desk acted difficult in giving us a room and insisted that their standard check in time is at 1PM even when we saw that there was a room or 2 that was free. Only when my husband insisted to the on duty manager to give us any available room as we travelled roughly 10hrs to get to the hotel. We were not on holiday, it was a business trip so at least an hour rest would really count. Manager even challenged us to show their guest list to say that their hotel is full.
Having worked in a customer service industry myself and stayed in various resort type hotels (Maldives, Seychelles, Bora Bora, etc..) wayyy nicer than this, we have never been challenged that they will show the guest list in order to prove a point. I think having a little empathy and compassion to your guests could go a long way.
2. Breakfast was terrible. We set our 1st meetings at 09.30am so we could go to breakfast at 9 but by that time, nothing is left on their buffet table. You can literally consider it scraps, that's how bad it looked like. For the price that they charge the guests, you would expect something considered at least acceptable.
3. Service was extremely slow. We had dinner at the hotel 2x as it was part of the booking we made and although they had free tables around 08.30-9PM. They were really slow in clearing up the used plates, cutleries, glasses, etc. of the previous guests who used the table hence, soo many flies around the dining area. Not hygienic at all.

Almost everything here is fantastic. The view. The pools. The way the cabannas are situated. Theres even a jacuzzi in front of the cabanna! Pool area is amazing. Theres this wow factor once you entered the lobby as the huge pool will greet you! The rooms are very cozy. Love the bathroom. And the staffs service and hospitality is superb. Loving it here!

The location is a bit remote from Alona Beach where the action is, and the desk try to run a basic taxi scam (for your info a ride in a cab to Alona is 200p not 400p or 600p). They don't have a shuttle to town or even a hotel van...
Their Pool Villa can be really nice if they are cleaned on a regular basis and maintained or the place is going to rot. The main pool is nice.
Service is slow (yes yes, but nothing happens): slow as 1 pineapple juice from the bar can take 20-30mn. That's the only place in the Philippines that runs out of Bananas, Pineapples and Mangoes.
The manager can make things happen but things should happen without slamming the desk.
The local dive shop can't bring you anywhere else than the house reef as their boat is out of service (still there). The motor sports activities are running on a Jetski...
Most of the customers are from China.
We had a transportation issue (to get there) but the desk wasn't very helpful with the ferries or flights.
Tap water is not drinkable, but they'll charge you for purified bottle water. Only two little ones per day even you're more than two in the villa...
There's no beach... if you take the steps down, you'll reach water and coral...not beach. Even the neighbours (Flushing Meadows) don't have a real beach.
The sea deck is a nice place to hang out, too bad they don't use it properly. Same for the Korean BBQ place... empty and abandoned.

Room tip: Pool Villas are great, depending on your neighbour.

My wife and I booked our stay for my birthday weekend (Sept 29th to Oct 1st), to enjoy some peace and serenity.

In our eyes - the place didn't disappoint.

What went well:
- The place was very well maintained
- The staff were EXTREMELY courteous and helpful; they were very easy to request customized details for our meals
- The prices of the drinks and meals were more than reasonable, and they were really fresh

What can be improved:
- There's an overlooking deck with a bar, but no signs letting guests know about it; It would be awesome if there be more advertising for that area (which also has a grilling area)

Overall, we really recommend the place and hopefully we'd be able to return in the future.

If you look for cozy, quiet, healing place away from busy city life, it's the right one. Staffs are kind but not too, overly kind, room is big but not too, overly big. They also serves good variety of food, including local, Asian, European, and for kids. It's great all rooms are either pool-access or pool-equipped. Pool condition was amazing. Good quality inn-room massage provided. One thing I missed there was a pool bar, which wasn't operating when visiting. You'll be once more amazed by the price tag of all the services.

Room tip: Pool villas' pool sizes are quite small.
