This restaurant, although simple and small at glance, is definitely one of the best in Hsinchu. It serves great Italian food. My family and I dine here almost once a week, and are always overly satisfied, as the owner constantly changes the menu with each new item tasting better than the last.
The staff is super polite, and explain the menu with all the time in the world, making you feel like you are the only customer, even though the whole place is packed.
Occasionally, it can be a little bit loud, as the restaurant is no bigger than a garage, yet has so many guests. Be sure to make a reservation, especially on weekends, where the restaurant is packed the whole day.
I definitely recommend saving room for dessert because the tiramisu and panna cotta are both amazing. If this is your first time eating in the restaurant, I definitely recommend trying the Olive Oil gelato. It sounds weird, but is definitely worth a try!
