After doing the touristy stuff last year we were looking to do something that wasn't so harmful to the animals.
This experience was everything we expected the elephants look so relaxed and happy doing stuff they would normally do without being tied up and prodded
Overall highly recommended

We wished to see elephants but not ride them, there was something very special about this experience, never having rode an elephant I could not compare the two, after feeding and bathing the elephants at sealand camp I would never contemplate riding one, the elephants played freely after we bathed them and seemed very happy the whole experience seemed as natural as you could get for a paid tour, if you got to Thailand this trip needs to be in your top three. Thanks for an experience that I will remember forever.

Words cannot describe the sheer joy our family experienced here. The guide gave intelligent commentary laced with wit prior to our arrival and gave us just a taste of what we were in for. Then to experience the honor (I do not use this term lightly) of bathing and feeding these amazing creatures is something that will stay with us forever. The elephants are treated with respect and love and it shows. To prepare the food for them, be able to feed them then to get into the water with the elephants to wash them has given us memories which will last lifetime. Whilst we didn't do the white water rafting after, we opted to swim beneath the waterfall which came as a complete surprise to share the water with literally hundreds of very inquisitive fish. The water was cool and serene and it just added t the overall enjoyment of the experience. To finish things off to be treated to a wonderful meal prior to our trip back just topped off an amazing day. This is definitely a must do adventure

Excellent white water rafting and elephant riding experience. The white water rafting was very
fun, it’s a 5 km run. It’s an easy ride, not a hardcore rafting experience. Riding the elephants was also an amazing experience. We had a nice lunch there too before heading back to Phuket.

So we paid to only experience the white water rafting and were told by the booking agent that we would have to wait one hour whilst others do other experiences.
These include Elephant Care (which we had done at ChaingMai elephant land) which unlike here is care, trekking, bathing and not riding.
It breaks my heart to see mass tourists riding elephants in baskets that are proven to be bad for their spines.
The other being ATV driving, which is essentially quad bikes

After waiting an hour and a half after our arrival for the elephant people to finish we then spent another 30 minutes for sufficient boat an crew to arrive we finally started.

No interaction with the two captains on the raft who just continued to get us down the river as quick as possible so they could filter through the next batch of guest like a conveyor belt.

The river was actually really good rafting experience but we felt no part of the activity and may as well just sat like dummies.

After which a 10 minute drive and then a 5 minute hike up sandstone path to a waterfall.
We have seen waterfalls before and couldn’t see the real attraction here. Being in cold water and now wet didn’t help.

Lunch continued the disappointment
Wasps and large ants all over the food reduced our appetite

The fact the tour rep as our guide having very little English also hampered our abilities to understand what was going on.

Back on the bus now to wait 20 minutes down the road for the others to finish ATV.

we had such a great experience with involvement when doing it on the Baron river in Cairns and was so looking forward to a similar experience.

All in all avoid this if you want to do rafting.
Be warned, take your business elsewhere.
