Lovely white sand beach that is calmer than Karon Beach because sheltered in a bay. The water quality was very smirky. Lots of boats being launched just outside the flagged swimming area.

Much quieter than Patong without so much commercialisation. Hence we found it to be more relaxing and tranquil. Plenty of spots around to get refreshments.

Just make sure you swim in the designated swimming area. Look for the "swim here" flags. No one bothered us. It can get hot during summer so bring shades or you can rent them at the beach.

Good wave size that varied each day. Great for learning to surf (where you can hire boards on the beach). White sand, clear waters with fish for snorkelling. There was some rubbish but over the few weeks of staying on the beach, I witnessed some beautiful locals and some tourists picking up rubbish and putting in bags to take off the beach. It was very nice to see. Some great restaruants that sit on the beach which makes it nice to have a bite then get back to the water.
