Visited in a group of 6 on a drizly afternoon in October. The deer needed a lot of coaxing to come and eat from our hands! There were a lot of local children around to coax and cajole the deer for our benefit. They were doing this to earn a couple of bucks but probably at the cost of not attending the state primary school for their basic education!

If you are in Mukutmanipur you must visit this place. Journey to the park is awesome too. First a boat ride to cross the river then need to take a vano. In the deer park you can see a lots of deers are roaming freely. These deers comes and takes foods from visitors hand.

Banpurkuria is located only 2 km from Mukutmanipur. The Park is at a distance of 2 kilometers from the shore can be reach by Motor Van Rs.225 to 250/-. The Park is more like a Deer sanctuary, where you can see herds of Deer roaming in their natural habitat. One has to travel by motor boat to this place. Presently there is no entry fees. Deers are put into an enclosure, opening time morning 0800 Hrs to evening 1700 Hrs.
