Please carry your own food, AC, Towels, Housekeeping staff.Bedsheets, pest control mechanism & please avoid any agents. If still you choose this place try breakfast next door. Bcos food is terrible & costs a bomb.

To begin with, the place is drop-dead gorgeous. You willingly never want to leave.
The food is great but the cocktails made by a respective Hemant are so so delicious.

The place has live music amongst different really really creative/productive activities taking place every other night.
The staff is super friendly and kind.

Booked through goibibo under non-refundable scheme due to discount. Got it at 1500/- per night. Had booked it for 3N/4D. But checked out first day itself. Place is very small, unkept, dirty and not maintained at all. Pictures posted earlier are deceiving. We were given a room where in AC won't cool. Also the room was dirty with spider webs and dirty linen including the chair cushion. Unwashed and spotty. Also the dish connection had expired. Well the runner boy did fix it later by refilling the balance. We were shifted to another room which was filled with cockroaches at least 10, seriously. They were ants, spiders and lizards in the room. Dinner was tasteless...had a pink tomato soup with tomato pieces floating in it with kokum. Also for breakfast there is just one dish u can opt for- upma or omlate. We told by the caretaker Stalin that we are checking out since hotel failed to provide hygiene, food and facility as shown. He said he would have refunded if I had booked through him, but won't refund as I booked through goibibo. So we lost our money paid for 2nights, but thank god we checked out. Immediatly booked another hotel. Refer picture if dirty washroom, rotten basin floor, hair in omletter, cockroaches everywhere and dirty swimming pool. I intentionaly didn't pay for dinner. Informed Hemant (kitchen care taker) and got it waived.
Location is good. Also they don't check ID while your complete stay or check-in.

Like many others, Goa has one of my most frequented holiday destinations. So, in a way, I’ve been fortunate enough to explore almost all of the pretty little state. Along with, in a way, I’ve explored quite a few options of stay in Goa. From 5-star properties & villas to resorts and apartments, I’ve experienced multiple options of stay.

But little did I know, that I was in for another surprise at Shantie Shakti.

Nestled in a quaint lane, close to Vagator beach, this place is true to its name. This ‘cute’ property has all it takes to make your stay memorable. From a little pool & hammocks to a ‘laze out’ stretch, this place ticks all the necessary boxes. Talking about the rooms, they aren’t huge but spacious enough to make you feel comfortable. Replete with a patio, you can be sure of many good mornings and evenings. Also, the fact that the washroom is well-stocked with the necessary toiletries, makes freshening up all the more delightful. Loved it!

Talking about the location, it’s at a walking distance from the Vagator Beach. And the serene locale, with hardly any hustle bustle around, you can be sure of a quite, peaceful and refreshing experience. In fact, this is one of the most peaceful stays I had in Goa. No wonder, I loved it so very much.

Amongst all, the service and the staff, stands out simply for its warmth and their desire to do all it takes, to offer you a comfortable stay. Always a smile on their faces, prompt and courteous, every interaction with the staff, was a very good experience. Loved every bit of it.

So, if you’re looking for a place that’s not very touristy and offer you an experience along with a comfortable place, this is the place for you. It’s time you plan your stay here, on your next visit to Goa.

We arrived at night time and we were spoiled by Shweta and the boys. They were playing a movie on their projector screen and served us an extremely tasty dinner cooked perfectly by Sandeep.
The rooms were perfect and equipped with a fan and air conditioning, a fridge a very comfy bed and a very pretty bathroom with a powerful shower.
We stayed for three nights and enjoyed the menu so much we ate most of our meals at the hotel.

It really felt like we were staying at someone’s house with the service and recommendations and help we received from the staff. The paintings on the walls, the design Of the bar area and the dining area are all so beautifully designed and make it a pleasure to sit and eat, drink, dance, smoke, talk or watch movies.

DO YOU LOVE DOGS? This is the right hotel for you - they have a gorgeous dog waffle who was a puppy whilst I was there and was so playful and loving. Waffles friend Marley is also a beautiful Labrador who loves to play as well when he is around.

We loved it so much that we decided we were going to come back to stay a week later.

We arrived back a week later and we were welcomed by a man that wasn’t there on our visit the week before - Hemanth what an absolute legend!
He was the missing ingredient from our first stay and the man behind some of the incredible design or the hotels bar area and the genius behind the restaurant menu.

I spent the next few days mainly at the hotel hanging out drinking and eating with Hemanth. He took me through the inspiration behind his cocktail and food menu. There is definitely something for everyone on there.
He played a lovely mix of music including the didgeridoo, the guitar and a perfect mix of trance, house and chill out beats on the stereo.

Hemanth and Shweta should be incredibly
Proud at the service they provide, they made our stay up there with the best stays we’ve had including 5 star hotels around the world.

If you want to be happy and filled with lovely gorgeous food and satisfying music and drinks you have to stay at Shantie Shakhti!!
