This is an unassuming restaurant with simple but effective decor and fittings. A very cosy spot for a meal.
We hwere here before two years ago and on this trip to Noosa we could not pass up the opportunity of dining there again.
The service, as per the previous visit, was friendly and very efficient.
I chose the Mr Jones beef and bacon burger with a side of chips. The beef was a thin piece of steak, a little chewy in isolation but the overall burger was excellent. A very large serve and the BBQ chutney dressing added greatly to the meal. The other dish was the pork belly. It came beautifully presented and it was reported as having a fresh moist taste. Regrettably it seemed to be a rather small portion and failed to satisfy totally. To compensate a dessert was chosen, A Slice of Summer, being honeycomb ice cream, meringue and a berry coulee. Seeming this made up for the smaller portion of the main
A good range of wines was available with a select few by the glass. These were not inexpensive.
Tended to be a bit noisy the night we were there essentially because of a table of 10 men. They were having a very good night but regrettably their chatter and laughter was a bit on the loud side, they were clearly having a good time and good luck to them. Cannot blame the restaurant for that but it did mar the experience a bit.
Mr Jones did not fail to satisfy and is a place thoroughly recommended
