Hi Laura, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry you felt the pizza did not have enough cheese. I appreciate your feedback regarding the delivery charges however I would like to explain our situation. We have a large delivery area often taking up to 30 minutes for a round trip. The $10 charge barely covers the cost of an employee to do the delivery plus associated costs such as fuel. Deliveries within near vicinity of the restaurant only incur a $5 charge. We are a small business with limited staff and we can only deliver so many pizza's at a time and as mentioned previously deliveries can take a considerable amount of time, which is why it is important for us to have a minimum order requirement. Again deliveries in the near vicinity do not incur a minimum charge. As it costs the same to deliver one pizza as it does 10, the delivery charge does not change regardless of the amount of pizzas ordered, which provides better value to our customers.
Thank you for your suggestion to keep up to date with our competitors. We undertook considerable research of all local pizza delivery options when determining a system that was fair to all. Without specifically naming businesses there was a wide range of options including delivery charge being built into pizza price ($8 for the first pizza and $2 for every pizza after that), minimum charge of $40 + delivery fee of $15, delivery fee of $8 (covering less area) + minimum charge of $30. I believe we have established a system and a cost that is balanced and fair taking into account our large delivery area and costs associated.
