We stumbled across this place whilst taking a walk back to our hotel and can say it was worth a visit for sure. The owner is so welcoming and makes every effort to tend to your needs. You order your drinks and are given a generous amount of varied snacks to enjoy with your drinks. We even went back in the evening to watch the football. Worth a visit for sure.

we were at Mario's last week, again after 9 years, and yes , he still recognized us !!

We were welcomed as if we were family.

The coctails were excellent, the service was superb !

The trip by taxi from agia pelagia to amoudara was worth it.

Will visit him again in the years to come :-)

Mario doesn't serve food here, except for ice cream. But his coffees are delicious. If you sit at the bar he'll share some home grown cucumbers and tomatoes with you! Try his wine, too. He makes it himself from local grapes. They have wifi, too.

Situated just along from the Agapi Beach where we stayed, this small bar has several televisions showing whatever sport you ask for. The Host, Mario, is fun, enthusiastic and welcoming and very loud but in a nice way. He goes well out of his way to sit you in front of the footy match of your choice and bring you drinks as quickly as you catch his eye. With a pool table and a variety of seating options it is a great little venue if you are staying in the Amadora area. Mario is crackers but great fun and his ladies are very efficient in keeping you supplied with drink. The lager is reasonable at 3.50 a pint and the cocktails strong and fruity at 7 euros. Give it a go if you are nearby. Its the place for saturday footy. One thing you need to know is there are no rules here and smoking is allowed inside and out so if that offends stay away.

The cafe/bar is in the middle of the main street in Ammoudara. The front is very shaded making it pleasant to sit and have a beer, coffe or snack. The inside is also cool with a tv and well stocked bar. The children are catered for with good quality ice cream. The menu is basic sandwiches and pizza, but the cafe is popular with locals and tourists as it is not pretentious. We visited during Euro 2016 and the owner catered for all footy fans by putting an large screen in the terrace corner for the games. The owner is a smasher, speaking several languages and making each customer feel welcome.
