We made a reservation for the entire family,  total of 28 persons. The first interaction was with Mr. Minas. I've sent an email using the address I found in the hotel's web site and Mr. Minas replied me politely telling me that he will try to assist the best he can.
While arriving to the reception, Mr. Minas asked for me and managed the check in with his great team as quickly as he can so we could leave to our rooms to rest after the flight.
During our stay, the staff were fully service oriented and always with a smile.
Two dining room managers, Nikos and Yanis always tried to give the best service to the entire family. One example is that my spouse is vegan and gluten free. The staff were so cooperating and told us to say what she wants to eat and they will make it for her. They even brought specially for her a gluten free bread.
There are many activities free of charge like kayaking; bow and arrow etc'
My father enjoyed the ice cream buffet next to the pool, he was very happy to sit in the evening against the beautiful pool lighting. The hotel is located on the other side of the island so it was relatively far from the air port but lets face it, it was around 40 minutes so it is not too bad.
The dining room is very large with no lines and the food was versatile and tasty. There were an omelette and a pizza stands that deliver fresh and tasty food.
To summarize, we definitely will come back and we recommend to everyone to do the same.

We have just returned from a fabulous family holiday. Our sea view room was right on the safe family friendly beach. The dining room and food were first class as were the staff. It is difficult to find any faults and to do so would be very churlish. It couldn't have been better and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to everyone.

We have been very impressed by this hotel, by far the best all-inclusive type hotel we have stayed in. The staff and levels of service were faultless, with everyone from the cleaners to to the waiting staff to the entertainment staff working really hard and going the extra mile to do their best, it really makes this place feel special.

The location is lovely, tucked away 15 minutes walk from Roda on a secluded beach overlooking the Albanian mountains.

The food is great, there is so much choice and the three waiter service restaurants on the beach were fantastic, like eating in a good quality restaurant every night...although the computerised booking system in reception is badly designed and very difficult to use at first. I think it put many people off as the restaurants were rarely full.

The main restaurant was the usual self service affair, but still very nice. In addition there is a fabulous crepe bar selling chocolate crepes, beautiful cakes and ice creams...our daughter loved going to this with her new found friends!

Our room was 567 situated near the beach and quite close to the entertainment venue which - if we didn't go along- was loud at night, if we were to go back I think I would choose a swim up room which is in a quieter location.

The main pool is brilliant. The slides were great fun and there are grown up areas too. My only complaint about the hotel would be the volume of the music at the pool. You just can't get away from it and as this is a 'spa' hotel I just didn't understand why booming Euro techno music was relevant. It wouldn't be so bad if it were localised to the bar area...but it is still really loud at the other end of the pool. Looking at most of the people around the pool, I'm pretty sure they felt the same way.

The only other comment would be the separate kids clubs...one for Thomas Cook, one French club and one 'international' club. As we travelled independently we were classed as 'international'. I didn't see any kids in any of the clubs and couldn't help but think one club for all kids would be much more successful!

Aside from those two issues, we loved this place and would go back.

Room tip: If you don't want to go to the evening entertainment choose a room away from the venue

Being a party of 9 ranging from adults to teens to toddlers, we all wanted different things from our holiday. The Mitsis Roda had it all - modern clean rooms, beach access, fantastic food, and waterslides. We stayed in room 523 on the ground floor which was perfect, with views of the sea and a couple of steps walk to the beach. The staff were attentive but not intrusive, even calling us in the room to see if there was anything they could help us with. Plenty of choice for food in all 4 restaurants. Chinese, Italian and Greek restaurants were right on the beach front and served excellent food. Rooms cleaned and towels changed everyday.
15mins stroll along the beach to Roda town and a fantastic stream which had dozens of turtles in- we threw bread from the bridge and the turtles all came to the surface, it was lovely. The beach is lit up at night by the hundreds of fireflies in the bushes, really magical.
Paleokastritsa is well worth a visit, its stunning and the views from the Monastery and Bella Vista are breathtaking. We booked a tour with a company in Roda called A & K Tours for £10 euros each and had a brilliant tour guide in Aussie Rob!

All in all an excellent holiday, couldn't find any fault in this hotel and would gladly recommend it.

Room tip: Rooms 519-525 have sea views and are on the ground floor with grass for kids to play.

An excellent holiday hotel. Comfortable and clean with superb staff.
Good food (the wine not so good - stick to spirits)
Great facilities.
Thoroughly enjoyed our week.

Exactly what a holiday should be.
