This is nearly a 5 star holiday location.
For a young family it is perfect, lots of swimming pools, great beach with good life guards at all times.

Tarmac roads with paved foot paths and excellent accommodation choices.

We stayed in their new XXL accommodation and with anything new there were teething problems so look out for:-
The itinerary of stuff was short by 8 items.
There are No instructions for the Microwave, Cooker, Air Con (all good quality electrical but tricky to use)
The fantastic Induction hob, if you are not used them before is a devil to use partly because they have the wrong type of frying pan and everything just burns.

Air Con, the remote control does not work properly and we were stuck at 19degrees
Also they have a stupid 48 hour top up card which you never knew when it was expiring, they should just include Air Con in the price

There were a number of power cuts while we were there lasting no more than 20mins.
However more of a nuisance was if we used 3 hobs the microwave would go off!!

The most annoying part of this wonderful looking site it lacks what Camping Capalonga as in heaps and that is character.
The Bar near reception and the beach bar are run by the same concession and it's owner nice has he was, was not really interested in the guests and you felt it was a cash cow for him and his mates.
Often you wold see large gathers of friends and family enjoying the food and drink and the poor waiters made sure they had better service than we did.

As for entertainment, well there is a armature team that organise stuff, mainly music for the kids some nights and at the beach bar once or twice but there is no real exciting program that brings us holiday makers together.
Again, I'm comparing this with the 4 Star site further along the coast (camping capalonga) with its massive professional stage on the beach with every night except one there was professional shows for all ages and there is drinks and exciting food.

It's a shame this site looks brilliant and most of the facilities are excellent but I feel the management are letting themselves down after investing so much money they just don't have that something else in customer service that we have experienced elsewhere.

If I was them they need to re-look at the whole confession business and create a more joined up team, as they say, look after the customer the money will look after itself.

One last minor point if you are allergic to Mosquitoes don't go here.
They spray the site 3 times a week but those Mosquitoes are nothing put persistent

By the way I got a 5% discount for the teething issues

Great site that needs more guest focus with a more experienced management team that selects better franchises

Dear Guest,
thank you very much for your very detailed comments. You pointed out very important issues that will be taken in serious consideration.
The general "lack of management" that you noticed during your stay is very undestandable for us, because yes, we did have some problems this summer in terms of organization. The problem is that we had all of a sudden a change in the general management just a few weeks after the beginning of the season. This caused some "general confusion", even though we did our best to solve the many problems we were facing. I can say that we got really settled and well-organized only on middle- august.
We are working very hard in these winter months in various fields: staff training program, new managers for the restaurants, new facilities (a huge new "lagoon" pool for kids), and many other improvements with the help of the technology.
We are sure our guests will appreciate them a lot.
We hope to see you again and to show you how much we are growing.
All the best!

We are staying at the campsite and enjoying our stay. The beach is beautiful, pools are nice and clean. The atmosphere is nice and friendly and nights are quiet. You may use free wlan near pools. We are thinking to book Isamar immediatly for the next year.

I have spent the last two weeks in a dreamlike holiday, the village is very cute, clean and well organized. The staff is polite, and the animators organize various activities for the kids, who can go around safely by themselves seeing the security of the place. Great food in the various restaurants, especially the beach. Stress free holidays. I'll be back !

Honestly I wouldn't rate this as a holiday location. The music is blaring at midnight even though quiet time is from 11pm. We are here right now!! For the price you pay the beds aren't even made. The key to our bungalow was nowhere to be found upon arrival at 3am and while the security guard did his best to help, he had to go off and get sheets for our bungalow. And there wasn't even any toilet paper upon arrival. The place seems quite faded. There is very little information as to what is on, when and where. The staff are pretty useless or unhelpful except for a few people in the supermarket and by the pool. The restaurants aren't great. I'm struggling for something nice to say. But the ice-cream is tasty in the evening and bouncy castles are a nice extra. But even the playground is full of rubbish and no one could be bothered to clean up. So while the kids are enjoying it, it's fair to say we will not be back and I would advise anyone to stay somewhere else. This isn't worth it. Have fun peeps!!

We went to Isamar for the Whitsunday weekend... it's been great! Besides the expected queue to enter (we've been stuck in a traffic jam on the way as well so we could imagine), and some infrastructural work still in progress (still season beginning), everything was excellent. The village is very clean and calm, really relaxing. A positive note goes to the grocery store, which offers a real wide selection of products, including some typical German brands in addition to the best Italian ones (the croissants in the morning are amazing!), for very fair prices. The staff was also very kind. Another positive feedback to the restaurant "girasole", which served very tasty dishes despite it was fully crowded because of the football match on saturday night. We had very good pasta (We had with salmon and "scoglio") and the starters were also pretty good.

Overall a very good experience, absolutely recommended!
