Owner description: Brighton Farmers Market is a locally owned and operated marketed, open every Saturday morning from 6am – 10am, come rain or shine. Here you will find a wide variety of fresh local produce at very reasonable prices. There is loads to eat for breakfast and to take home for lunch. Lovely “tiki” pies, freshly prepared fish’n bake, omlettes, waffles and most importantly “Pilebucks” Coffee. Many stall holders also sell local art, photographs, jewelry, baskets, plants, wood work, soaps and much more... Brighton Farmers Market has been running for over 10 years, with a welcoming friendly atmosphere, and has turned into a Saturday morning gathering place for locals and visitors alike. There are picnic tables under the shade of the flamboyant tree for you to sit, relax, catch up with old friends or make new ones and enjoy some of our scrumptious breakfast treats and freshly brewed coffees. See you Saturday.

This is a unique Barbados and Caribbean experience. It is wonderful to have coffee early on a Saturday morning in a place where locals and visitor mingle, laugh and tell tales about the history of the island.

We rented a car for two days and made this our first stop on our road trip. We were excited to sample the food there - until we arrived at 10:01 am, and people were packing up to leave. Um, who decided the hours should be 6 to 10am?! Someone not too bright obviously. The location was beautiful and I really wish we'd gotten there earlier, but we didn't, so I don't have much to add beyond that...

We are sorry that we missed you. When we started 17 years ago, our hours were longer but our clientele seem to be early birds and there is no point staying open when everyone has come and gone. Please visit us again if you come to Barbados and hopefully you will have a five star experience as we try very hard to earn that rating.

We drove north across The Highway and arrived by 7 am. Lots of stalls with fruits, vegetables, crafts, jewellery, knitted items, wooden signs, sewing and lots of food stalls including bread and pastries as well as savoury pies. We enjoyed a croissant and fresh coffee sitting a the tables provided. Nice atmosphere with a great selection of produce from the locality.

Fascinating market that was stopped at on a coach trip. Appreciated what we saw but not long enough stop to take all in.
