I stayed here almost 40 days . Overall nice experience.
Few days I stayed a room on basement and rest of days first floor. Basement rooms are not recommended.
First floor is good. Room was nice with a specious balcony with great view of apple orchards and a range of mountains . Clean washroom with hot water .

They offer free WiFi

Went to narkanda during 2nd October weekend with my 2 friends, this was my second visit to hotel and out stay at Himalaya inn was wonderful. It's located in main market and is very clean hotel. The food was also good, moreover full menu was available at all times. We stayed in deluxe room (204) and the valley view was amazing.

I stayed one night in this hotel in Narkanda during my Himanchal road trip. This hotel is situated in the main market place in Narkanda. The room and barhroom are good and nicely decorated but the service at the hotel is just ok. No one at reception after 9:30Pm and until 8AM in the morning. Other than that we found the hotel good. Hotel does have restaurant but we eat outside.

Room tip: Check the room before booking

We stayed overnight in this hotel while our Spiti Valley Bike trip. The hotel is situated in main bazar area. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, you will get hot water in the bathroom.
But according to me, the lady charged us Rs.1500 for overnight which is a bit overpriced for the location and service they are providing. We didn't had food here , so no comment. There was a restaurant named "The Himayan Inn Restaurant" just opposite to the hotel which provides good food.
Free wifi was written, but it was not working during our stay.
The hotel has no parking, so you have to park your bike or car outside, but that is not a problem at Narkanda. We also parked our bike overnight outside.

I visited Narkanda with a friend. We stayed in Himalaya Inn for 3 days. It was a very pleasant stay. Mrs. Negi (owner's mother i suppose) welcomed us. She is a very nice and a friendly lady. The food was great in the restaurant and very reasonable. The best part was, everything was available from the menu card. We never heard, that this thing is not available. Only the wifi in the hotel didnt work.
We got room 101 which has a beautiful view of the mountains but we could'nt stand in the balcony as there were lot of monkeys. But you can enjoy the scenery from inside the room itself as it has a big glass window. Room was cosy and toilet was very clean.
Naresh (the helper) was very nice and kind. We got to meet Mr. Tashi Negi, the owner before 1 day of our check out. Very nice, polite and friendly man.
We would definitely be visiting Narkanda/ Himalaya Inn again and have already recommended this hotel to my family and friends.

Room tip: Opt for the rooms at the backside which has balconys with the view of the mountians.
