Stayed for 1 night on 23/5/2015. Booked for 2 rooms. Room consist of 1 double bed and 1 single bed. Very comfortable.
Hotel provided us free daily bus & tramp pass to Geneva town & Geneva International Airport. The station just in front of the hotel.
Surrounding area are shopping centre but close on Sunday. There halal restaurant nearby.More

What can you expect from a 1 star hotel? No toothbrush, no toothpaste, no shower cap, and all the other necessary basic amenities. There is, however, a tiny soap bar and a 2-in-1 shampoo / body wash which was, unfortunately, not replenished on our 2nd day at the hotel. The basin is not attached to a small bathroom booth nor to a toilet cubicle. There are no locks to the semi-transparent bathroom and toilet, so you need to give a lot of respect to your partner when using the toilet and especially when taking a shower. The room is not big enough for two cabin luggage, too. Breakfast is a whoop 16CHF (additional) so we just decided to buy and eat from the supermarket. The Les Esserts tram stops just on the opposite side of the hotel so you can get easy access all around Geneva, so long as you know which stops to alight from and so on and so forth. The hotel gives a free transportation ticket during your stay at Ibis Petit-Lancy, so you don't have to worry about the expiry time of a public transportation ticket every time you want to go somewhere in Geneva. Check-out is easy; all you need to do is just place your room cards inside a transparent box at the reception desk and you're as good as ready to go.

We stayed for only one night but it was a lovely stay!
The room was cute and clean, the bed really comfortable, breakfast very rich!
We even had a crazy request and they surprised us by actually fulfilling it!

Good clean and modern small room, got an IKEA feel to it, in a good way. Friendly staff. Air conditioning seems to be missing though or at least one can not regulate anything in the room. Breakfast ok, the wifi logon process can by a total nuisance though. I'd suggest to find a better provider. Good location with daily shopping options, tram connection to downtown Geneva is easy.

Because of the yearly Auto show in Geneve, all hotels were suddenly scarce of rooms in mid-March. But not Ibis Budget in Petit-Lancy. So luckily I had a room, however overpriced.
So next time there is overload on rooms in Geneve, Ill try something different out of town. Ibis is predictable in its service, you have a clean room, professional staff, predictable good access to wifi. So that works well for travelers that needs to work. But I would also like the price to be predictable.
I was happy to realize that it was very easy to access centra of town from this location. There is also buses to the airport right nearby. So do not get put of from it being a little more out of center of town than some of the other hotels. Its easy to get around by taxi but also by trams and buses in Geneva.

Stayed here for 6 days during a conference in Geneva. Hotel Ibis Budget isnot located near the regular attractions in Geneva. However, it is close to the tram and bus stop "Petit Lancy" which makes it convenient to travel to the airport as well as to the city center quite conveniently.
The rooms are quite small, but well organized. In my double bed room, the additional bunk could easily accommodate one child (though I stayed alone). The quality of bed and linen is fantastic. The bathroom (rather the bath chamber) was very small, but cleverly designed. The hotel provides wifi without any additional charges which is very good. Buffet breakfast is available on the ground floor for additional payment. I must also mention about the staff at the reception. They are cooperative and polite. They also provided the complementary bus ticket for my entire stay which was very helpful
Overall, I loved my stay there at Ibis Budget Geneva.
