We stayed here as a stop over on our way from Italy. The hotel was easy to find and even though it was not near the centre of Lucern it was only 2 stops on the train. The station and bus stops were within walking distance and we were given a free city pass.
If you didn’t want to go into the centre there was a restaurant and a Macdonalds nearby.

the hotel brand stand for own services at an easy check in and comfortable room with the standard amenities including the parking space for a car and the free public transportation providing from the hotel. There are a family travelers with two reservations adjoining the room which the hotel services would be unlocking the door to connect all family travelers to be walking through both hotel rooms. the location is good within the area of the train station, grocery store and restaurant. Switzerland is the most beautiful country with all mountains and the view of this hotel is a plus on the summer trips.

We booked two triple rooms, only one socket per room. I was shocked because everyone has at least one device... If you possess ibis business card, I recommend you to call them directly. We booked through booking.com, and we couldn't get that discount. BTW, the parking is not free.

Concerning the sockets, I am happy to inform you that we have min. 3 sockets placed on different places in our rooms. As the Swiss plugs look different, we kindly ask our staff for assistance.

Over all the rooms were clean. I would say it’s a 2 star hotel. The front desk staff was not helpful or present, but that could be due to the fact the had a large group to deal with. The hotel did not have face rags or hand towels only bath towels. This did not bother me because we brought our own. However, what was most annoying was the fact that they did not have ceiling fans or air conditioning. They provided floor fans and you could open the windows which would have been ok but we were visiting during a time when they had flying insects in which I had to fight off over night. So, in the morning I ended up with bug bites to my areas that were exposed. I would suggest that the hotel invest in A.C., ceiling fans, and screen meshes to keep flying insects out the rooms. Overall, this would have been an ok stay. I loved visiting Switzerland and this location was not that bad. It could have been worse!!

The hotel looks quite new and the room is very clean and quite spacious. The staff in the reception are very friendly and helpful. There are some restaurant and a supermarket near the hotel. The hotel is not in the centre of Lucern but only 2 stops (7 mins) to the main train station of Lucern by train. When we first arrived, we lost our way as there was construction near the train station and the pedestrian was blocked. Luckily, the people in the neighborhood are very nice and showed us the way to the hotel. The buffet breakfast is good. I paid deposit and then the reception lent me a kettle. I think this hotel is value for money.
