This hotel though is 2 local stations away from lucerne main train station, it takes just 6-7 mins by local train.The frequency of trains to main station lucerne is every 3-4 mins making it very convenient to move around. This hotel is about 7 mins walk from Lucerne kriens and is a quiet neighborhood. Though don't expect anything nearby except a McDonald's. For grocery or food items, Co-op store at lucerne main stn is very convenient to load up n carry the same to room.

Hi,
The hotel is located very near to Kriens Mattenhoff station which is 10 min from Luzern. Trains run every 15 min from Luzern and is also accesible via bus.It is very near to Mt Pilatus and with the travel pass provided you can travel around Luzern for free.
The rooms were clean and big enough. Check-in and check-out was smooth and the breakfast was good.The person at the reception was really helpful and provided all help possible.The lady serving breakfast was also really helpful.
The prices are bit on higher side, but so is everything in Switzerland. :)

We enjoy stayed with Ibis group. Since the location was great however the place might not be convenient for shopaholic much but our trip was full of loved Switzerland country. Promise to be there again.

This hotel is a little far away from the city centre of Lucerne. At first we were given super small room twin but upon request they immediately moved us to a much spacious room with a double bed! Which was much appreciated :)
The young guy at the reception was super nice and friendly (Forgot his name) we enjoyed our conversation would love to reconnect with him.
Breakfast was included with our tour and enjoyed the breakfast options which included pancakes. Breakfast area is not very big but it is cozy!
They give you free travel pass for the local transportations (which is super convenient!!) and the train station is less than 10 min walk from the hotel. The train is frequent so we went out for dinner in Lucerne. There is a 7/11 like departmental store across the road behind the hotel and you can get your water, snacks, beer and ice cream etc. It was a memorable stay! Highly recommend.

Located in a low-rent suburb of Lucerne, transport to the hotel from Lucerne station is quite iffy. Only one bus serves it and the bus stop is a fair walk from the hotel. Rather an ordeal walking there with luggage. On Saturdays and Sundays the bus stops a couple of stops earlier and the frequency is reduced to one per hour from half hourly and thus makes the trip even more uncomfortable. The bed sheet was dirty but had not been changed. In the evening, when we asked for it to be changed, the receptionist came rushing up to change it. The poor man could not even find a sheet to fit the bed. And this is a premium hotel with over 50 rooms, belonging to the Accor group? Cost cutting shouldn't be taken too far. For the prices we paid we could at least expect cups, glasses, etc in the room.

- It's definitely an exception with the bed sheets. Please be sure, that there will not happen again in the future.
- There is also a train station nearby where you can find a train running every 15 minutes until midnight. During your stay, the station was under construction. So the trains were not running.
- As we are a chain of Ibis Hotels and as the amenities are also standard, we do not have any cups or glasses in our rooms. But you can always ask our reception team. They will be more than happy to provide you some.
