If you wanna see lucky Dolphins in her real living space, have a glass of wine at the beach - all over the world and enjoy the unique and peaceful creatures.
Please don't support that place! Better to crying with happiness to see lucky Dolphins living in the wild, as crying 'cause of seeing them almost dead!

Tiny filthy tanks, too shallow to provide shade from the sun and just round the corner from The Cove. Give this a miss. Watch The Cove Award Winning Documentary Instead...

Visited with my wife and children as we are avid conservationists. Tanks that the animals were kept in were very small and didn't look clean. The museum consisted of whaling memorabilia with biological specimens like whale foetuses for visitors to view. We were confused at how you could swim with the dolphins and then eat dolphin meat in the restaurant. It's not a place to go if you have an interest in conserving a species as the unit does seem to be aimed at the opposite. My family and I will not be returning.

This museum is more for young kids. The highlight is the 15 minutes whale and dolphin show. There is 45 minutes in between 2 shows where you can visit the museum. The museum has English panels which very well explain the rise and fall of whale hunting. Since there is not much to do in Taiji, the visit is almost a must.

Visited with family, what an awful place animals are kept in tiny tanks and it seems very cruel in my opinion. Much better things to do than this.
