So my wife and son had a wonderful late lunch down the road (Yelp cant seem to find the place I ate at, review will come soon) So we see this dessert shop and say why not stop in? We walk in and the place is very nicely decorated, very well lit and very very small. All the desserts are stand alone as if you were looking at them though a museum case.
I ordered small strawberry cheesecake, my wife ordered the sweet potato dessert and my son a chocolate cookie. After selecting the server (very polite) showed us where to sit, and began working on our desserts. Took kind of a while, but the presentation was worth it. (This is where forgetting my iPhone bites me in the butt every time, no pics to share)
Anyhoo to each dessert she garnishes passion fruit, pineapple, a cookie wafer and white chocolate all served on a rectangular tile. The cheesecake was meh, but not terrible, the chocolate cookie wasn't great, and the sweet potato dessert my wife enjoyed. But the stinger is that you get what you pay for, and in this case we were also apparently paying for the rent. Our lunch was cheaper then the desserts we ordered here. Not taking away from the presentation or anything, I just want you to be prepared to shell out $2 for a chocolate cookie that's the size of an Oreo.
So would we come back...maybe for a whole cake or something, otherwise we can find better bargains elsewhere.
