The Onsen was the best bonus for us... Stayed 3 nights, went 3 times. After a day of skiing it was the highlight of coming home to rest! There is a washer and dryer, great vending machines, the drying room very organised and even hot water bottles for us to take to the rooms. Lovely Japanese hotel for a mainly Japanese market. Close to Ski fields, but need a car to be truly mobile and enjoy the various sights nearby.
Rooms on the small side, but then again, you are in Japan.
Dinner was very local market oriented and very basic. Breakfast ok... We paid for 3 breakfasts but went only once as we were not really impressed. But plenty of lovely places to go to in the towns of Hakuba and Echoland. Beautiful views of the mountains from our room.More
