The hotel is clean and well presented, it is ideal for an overnight stay and well priced. The restaurant next door is excellent. The room also had a table and chairs for eatingin room.I would stay here again when visiting family in the area.

Room Tip: The back of the hotel overlooks fields and is quiet

Good quiet stay. Only few minutes outside Desborough, if you want something a bit noisy or lively stay above one of the pubs in town but if you're looking for somewhere to get your head down without getting disturbed after a day's work & then grabbing a quick bit to eat then perfect. Staff are polite. Only thing is breakfast bit dearer than everywhere else! Most places £4.95 here they charge more

Check in was great, Stoica was very nice and polite. Booked us breakfast when we wanted it, told us where everything was. Room was clean and tidy, rang for extra pillows but called restaurant lol Pillows came quickly. Enjoyed super meal at the Gurkhas restaurant! Really was great, nice quiet relaxed. Leon was lovely waiter. View over countryside was lovely. Slept well in very soft bed. Breakfast was served before we finished cereal and orange juice guys were nice and polite. Breakfast buffet was plentiful. Will be back again soon. Left my fone at hotel and staff held in for me. Glad we went we managed to relax.

Room Tip: Quieter rooms at the back away from road.

Easy to find, ample parking, attached Indian restaurant smelt amazing (we ate elsewhere as staying overnight for a function), lovely warm welcome on arrival by the two ladies on reception, one of whom I think was the manager.

It's a former Travelodge and much of their fixtures and fittings remain, but there were hairdryers in the bedroom and bathroom, comfy beds and a table to eat at. We had two issues with maintenance - the net curtains fell down when I brushed past them making up the single bed, but they fitted back up easily, and; there was initially no reception on the TV. A quick call to the front desk, someone was at our room inside two minutes and the problem fixed five minutes later. Issues happen and it was the perfect response.

Good help with our queries re: taxis, lovely view out the front, hard to fault the stay, especially for an excellent overnight rate. Superb shower and cleanliness throughout was immaculate.

Well done, Travel Plaza !!

The lady on reception was welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and well presented with comfortable beds. The restaurant next door provided an excellent Indian meal which was very good value.
I'm not sure why some reviews give a different impression, but I'd be happy to stay here again. My only quibble is that, unusually, full payment is taken with reservation.

Room Tip: Rooms at back are quieter
