Me and my daughter had a good look around. Some quirky little shops which sold some bizarre & wonderful things!
The usual shops, pubs and restaurants. ( and some new ones) we stopped off at Nero for coffee and the staff were friendly. Outside area which will be lovely in warmer weather.

A lovely walk along the river. 2 bridges to walk under and obtain some wonderful photos. The cobble Main Street is fantastic with many shops to browse through. A lovely church is located a few streets back on the other side of the river. Definitely worth a visit to this town.

We only visited here for a few hours and to have a walk round. The town was clean and everyone was very friendly. We stayed outside of Yarm, but if we visit this area again we would stay here, as there seemed to be plenty of place to eat and have a drink after a day out and about in the local area.

A lot has changed in the area since we lived here, a few more commercial shops and coffee spots on the high street now bring a nice variety. great place
