Yarm as gained a reputation on Teesside as the place for a night out, meal or a group get together. Lots of Restaurants, pubs and bars. There are also some decent, but expensive clothes and jewellery shops.

Lots of shopping and eating options along the High Street. Something for everyone! Quaint shops and lovely restaurants and welcoming pubs.

Interesting shops to look in, lots of architecture along the high street, lovely walks down by the river, and visit the small hidden away castle on west street.

Food to drink, you are sure of plenty of choice. Watch the traffic as Yarm is very busy at most times of the day.

The high street has changed over the years. There are a number of local eateries as well as clothes shops. Parking is not easy as no new parking places have been provided. Parking on the high street costs £1 for 3 hours.
