It was a very relaxing and fun day throughout my stay even if we are there for our annual group discussion or training. The ambiance made it feel like I am having a vacation while learning.

Through out my stay in Modala (4 days 3 nights), it ws nothing but fun and relaxing time for me. Panglao itself is already beautiful but staying in a grandiose hotel like Modala is such a dream for me. Their breakfast is something that you should look forward to. It will make you smile when you sleep at night because you know that you’re expecting another good set of breakfast for the next day. Everywhere you go, the staff greets you. Even though they’re wearing face mask, I can see their genuine smile and feel their genuine greeting through their eyes and their voice. Their pool is so good and relaxing especially at right. The pool is warm which really soothes your body. Their rooms are so clean and it really smells good. Their housekeeping staff is really accommodating. He cleans our room everyday (shoutout to you). Their front desk peeps are accommodating as well and knows how to handle different situations. Kudos to that. They also offer free use of their kayaks and Paddle boards for 30 minutes (which I wasn’t able to try huhu). The sea water was so clear and soothing as well. Their gym was small but it was functional. All is well in Modala. Lastly, I want to take this opportunity to also mention these following people for making my stay in Modala extra special: (I know that they already know this because I kept on mentioning it to them) Ms. Cris who is such an accommodating bartender and a service crew, you really made my stay fun and healthy because of the things you fed me. To Ms. Tin, you’re crazy and I love it haha. To Jasper and Carlo, most handsome service crew (next to Manager Edwin ofc haha), you guys are so funny and very fun to be with. Ofc, to manager Edwin, shoutout to you, you did a great job managing the hotel restaurant. And to other restaurant crew, you’re all so consistent just like everyone. You made the dining experience for everyone a memorable one. Keep up the good work, Modala. You will reach your highest, claim it.

The pickup from seaport was arranged by the resort and it was overall very smooth. Once we arrived at the resort, we received a warm reception and was immediately stunned by the beautiful infinity pool and sea view. Our room was very spacious and clean and there’s really nothing much else you can ask for. Room service was also excellent and prompt.

We stayed here for two nights and both days the breakfast was super delicious and the view was just amazing. The staffs were also very friendly and always strike a conversation with us on our stay in Modala and things to do around the area. We also spent the afternoon at the pool bar and we have to commend Markie for his excellent and professional bartending service. We had a really good time.

The resort was also located in a very convenient place with a small shopping mall right beside with a couple of restaurants with different cuisines, some smaller shops selling souvenirs, as well as a 24-hour 7-11 where you can get all the stuffs you need even in the middle of the night. There was also a pharmacy beside but it wasn’t open during the time we were there.

At the end of our stay, the resort also helped us with booking the Oceanjet ticket back to Cebu as well as arranging seaport transfer. We could’ve also booked some tours via the reception but we just wanted to relax all day because of what the resort offers!

If you are in Bohol you definitely should stay at Modala, won’t regret it! We really wished we were staying longer!!
