We stay there on March 16, for two nights. Welcoming Staff, help us in every step possible. The suite are well furnished and spacious. It is Nice new build Resort with unique swimming pool. The location was not far from Alona beach, it is approx. 2km, but we do not mind as we have good night sleep, and you could take tricycle for P 100. The resort is 90 meter from the highway, not the best entry, but it is typical on the island. Bed are comforts and Tv with a lot of channels 145. The breakfast is simple with different choices, but delicious, our room comes with free breakfast, so we don't have to pay. The front office lady was so helpful in arranging our daily tour. We feel that we get great value for our money, thank you TripAdvisor, even though do not understand some of the comments posted on trip advisor, it is contradictory to the reality of the place.

Room tip: Superior suite is good choice facing swimming pool

It is a NIGHTMARE to stay here. Tried their best to OVERCHARGE ALL THINGS! It is not a suite or proper resort, it is a converted bungalow with a pool and a lot of rooms. Very weird and incoinconvenient location! So they could keep overcharge for transports. A lot of disappointment and dissatisfaction. Our arrival at pier is at early morning and we have hired a driver from this hotel to drive us around for sight seeing untill 5pm but we got tired decided to arrive at hotel earlier which is 2pm, after done check in it was 3pm and we thought could ask the driver to send us to beach to chill since we have hired him till 5pm but it was rejected and asking for aadditional payment as he claimed has completed his duty once we were arrived at hotel and this was not pre communicated. We were charged for usd 20 for 3km drive to the beach!!! Room was ok but the service is real bad, towels and bedsheets, blankets were not enought for us as told it was not a sunny day and all linens were wet and not ready to serve. We waited till 10pm and still not ready got upset and tired..were slept without shower. We were charged for 5 person and given only 1 room with 2 queen bed and a sofa! Not even a proper single additional bed, yet the sofa is not turned over to serve as bed (no blanket or pillows on it) expecting us to self arrange! Were also given menu without price to ask order for breakfast and thought it was included in room package (yes the staff send the menu to room without sending towels or make up the sofa for guest to sleep) without being told it was separated charged and we were charged at usd 15 per person for breakfast of 2 White bread and 1 MAYBE is sausage! Taken their island hopping package but were charged ddouble of street stall price and it were all under same operator! Finally got a chance to take a shower but got minor ELECTRIC SHOCKED from the water heater!! Complained but nothing been done. It is risking a life and ruined my travel experience here!

Very nice little hotel with rooms situated around the pool. Room had everything, fridge, airco, new tv and very new and clean. Little terras before the room. Young staff, very kind and serviceminded. You can book a scooter or a tour with them. Price quality is top.

I found this is a good accommodation, including small garden and a nice tiled pool. The location, a bit off the main road, is quiet, despite proximity of new airport. The staff is helpful (thank you Ilona!).

Our family of four (two adults, two teens) stayed at Venezia four nights. Although we did not expect much, the feeling as we checked out was one of disappointment.

The room was spacious and the beds comfortable, so far so good. The pool is nice but for some mysterious reason there are the foundations of four urns still attached to the bottom and hidden under the surface. Not great with kids playing around in the water.

The hotel had booked a van to pick us up from the ferry when we arrived. Since the driver was (at least, we never saw him) 45 minutes late we took another van from the ferry terminal. The price was the same as the one quoted by Venezia, 800 Pesos. When we checked in to the hotel, the friendly lady at the front desk still wanted us to pay for the driver who was 45 minutes late. I had emailed Venezia multiple times while waiting for the driver before finally giving up. I said that we had no intention of paying for the late driver which she accepted.

As stated in other reviews, the location is quite remote. No restaurants around. You need to take a tricycle to Alona beach or other area. Tricycles always overchage tourists which I fully understand, but I was surprised that the front desk lady told us that the standard rate to Alona was 150 Pesos when I asked her for the ”correct” rate after bargaining. Just by asking the driver, you will easily get the rate down to 100. This is of course still much more than locals pay.

We had no hot water in our shower during our stay. The staff was alerted on several occassions but no action taken. Our room was cleaned once.

The breakfast is extremely limited. You can choose how you want your eggs cooked, whether you want bacon or sausage and either toast or rice. No cereal, no fruit.

Upon checkout, we were charged 60 Pesos for two bottles of water taken from the room fridge. I asked whether we could see that as compensation for no hot water during four days but that question was only met with a blank stare.

The staff do their best given the limited resources available. The owner seems to lack ambitions since the place has some potential.
