You can get an aerial view from either tower. There is no charge, just turn up and queue.
They had a very efficient system running and we were in the lift in no time.
Viewing is from floor 45 and there's a shop and cafe on top.

With only ten minutes in que we went up 200+ meters to se the view of Tokyo. There was information about the importnat buildnings we could see and helpful volunteer guides. We spoke to our guide about the buildnings in the city and japanese culture.

The queue was massive just before sunset but it didn’t take too long for us to get to the front. It was great seeing the sunset but it meant that the rest of the view was a little hazy. It was still worth the visit and it was great that it was free.

The observatory on the top floor offers great views and is free to go up to. Open until about 10 or 11 at night. Also has a nice gift/souvenir shop.

A great way to see the entire city for free. They also have a gift shop which is perfect if you have some last minute souvenirs to purchase. If you’re there early there won’t be a wait.
