We stayed here for 4 nights in all at the start and then again at the end of our trip. The room was overall comfortable , clean and fresh. It was quiet so we slept well. However with the couch and desk in the compact rooms they felt a little cramped at times. OK for a couple of nights. We enjoyed the buffet breakfasts in a very pleasant dining room. Easy walk to the station and restaurants etc.

My husband and I stayed here recently for 5 nights. This was our first time in Japan and to be honest we really liked the location of this hotel. It was central to absolute everything: shopping, station, food and parks.

Pros:
Good location
Good value for money
Breakfast is only $15AUDpp if you wish to pay at the property and it’s pretty good
Check in was at 3pm but we arrived at 7am, they had no rooms available for us to pay for to get earlier however did what they could to get us in the next room (not until midday) but we didn’t have to pay the extra
Bathroom modern
Local family mart under resort

Cons:
2 x English TV channels (CNN and discovery) all others in Japanese
No gym
Room was extremely small, with the amount of luggage we had we had minimal room to move however this is the normal in Japan.

Overall I would recommend this place, it is in the red light district however we had no issues what so ever with anyone.

Stayed here for 2 nights at the start of our mammoth 10 day tour of Japan. This hotel was about a 5-10 minute walk from Shinjuku Station positioned near many places to eat. It was also about a 15 minute walk away from Shinjuku Gyoen and 45 minutes walk to Shibuya. The hotel itself was fairly clean with decent furnishings and there is a 7 eleven literally next door. It can be a bit noisy at night because of its location but that didn’t bother us. We didn’t use the hotel restaurant for breakfast but we did eat at the udon restaurant on the floor below reception and it was one of our favourite meals during our stay so I would recommend eating there. Overall we were happy with everything, nothing to complain about and the location is very good but perhaps a few extra amenities such as a gym would have been great.

This is our second visit to Tokyo and also our second stay at Citadines Central Shinjuku Hotel. This hotel has become our default hotel in Tokyo mainly because of the location and it's good value for money. Service is good. Staffs were courteous and respectful and they speak good English. I will definitely book this hotel again in my next visit to Tokyo.

Good hotel in the heart of Shinjuku. Only a 5 - 10 minute walk from the main station. Rooms are well equipped and slightly larger than the average hotel room in Tokyo. Staff were very friendly. I would stay again.
