Very nice tidy rooms . Very clean and we'll maintained. Great staff and very good breakfast. Nice restaurant for dinner and one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in for quite some time. A very good deal. Highly recommend.

Perfect location and wonderful staff. If you are flying in to Haneda Airport, this is the perfect location. Very close to the station that the monorail stops at & right by the Tokyo Tower. Walking distance to Ginza and tsukiji Fish market. The staff is extremely friendly and very accommodating. We all loved this hotel and we would come back again.

Spent three nights at The Shiba Park Hotel. Well located to the attractions of Tokyo as well as transport and restaurants. The only drag is a 2 hour bus transfer from Narita or an alternative is a 30 minute train ride which we didn’t do but were informed of. Hotel has a good restaurant at middle of road prices with more affordable options on the street. Is clean, albeit starting to look a little worn. Staff very helpful and competent with English.

Our second stay at this hotel, and still a formidable grand dame of tourist hotels in the city. Ever so modestly nicer since the refurbishment, I value its understatement.

There is one drawback - no real view. There is one huge upside - peace and quiet.

The location is awesome, down a sidestreet 10 minutes walk from the North exit of Hamamatsucho (Yamanote line and HND monorail) or 5 minutes from the nearest exit of Daimon. Friendly local bar 2 minutes walk South (near the temple), walking distance to Tokyo Tower, walkable (but not particularly close) to Tsukiji. Many, many restaurants around. The point is, you are in the very heart of real Tokyo and removed from its excesses all at once.

The property itself is clean and well maintained. The staff are courteous and proficient in English. The rooms are a good size for Tokyo, with double beds being a Western size. The decor is very much classic rather than fashionably modern, but has been refreshed with well-located power points and the occasional USB charge point. With regard to services and amenties I particularly appreciate the blend of the best of Japanese and Western hotel traditions. There are vending machines, a lounge with a microwave, a coin-op laundrette but also a regular bath and shower and a toilet that doesn't require guesswork to operate.

Nothing to fault really, we would return anytime.

Room Tip: Make sure you request a double bed (not twin beds) if that's what you require.

Service is very good. Beds comfortable. Room size is good. Location close to multiple subway, so access is easy to tourist attractions. Daimon Subway line goes direct to Narita airport. Room is a little tired.
