Quite a bit of fun, we went on a Friday night and was pretty busy, but nothing too crazy. Indoor rollercoaster and a few other pretty fun rides. A bit out of the way (JR East pass does not cover the train there), but still reasonable close. Price was about right for the amount of rides etc.

My family was touring Tokyo and we were looking for something fun for the kids to do so we chose to visit Odaiba and stopped at Joypolis. I wasn't sure what to expect from this place and whether my daughters (9 and 11 years) would be too young for this place. We also do not speak Japanese so I wasn't sure how much of a problem this would be. We got a one day passport that allowed them to ride all the attractions since they were tall enough. It is three floors and has around 20 different attractions they can ride on. And there are also a number of claw machines and arcade games that you have to play extra for. We were all impressed with the spectacle of this complex - lots of cool games and experiences. And they could ride most of the rides - they weren't too big and scary for them, although I think this place would be ideal for kids between the ages of 12 - 24. My kids were able to muddle through the attractions without speaking Japanese, so although there was some mild confusion, they were able to get most of the experience. But the problem was that they had to wait in really long lines for most of the rides (between 25-35 minutes) and we went on a Thursday afternoon. Although they had a great time on the rides and came off each ride with a smile, the long waits really made put a damper on everything. They only had enough energy to ride 4 rides before they were ready to go home. I would say it would be a fun place to take your older kids if you happen to be in the area, but be prepared to wait in long lines.

Came here with my hopes up thinking it would be some out of this world advanced tokyo technological arcade centre. Was wrong. Very very average rides. Very very outdated graphics on some of the rides. Some walk through rides e.g. haunted house called Biohazard was unspectacular and you quickly see that you're just being toured through a set. Long queues up to 50 minutes on the more popular rides. As per the title of this review, Tokyo Joypolis is definitely not for adults. When I went it was filled with mainly teeny boppers in groups. Full day unlimited pass was 4300yen per adult which is expensive considering the subpar rides. If you are looking for VR don't even bother with this place as only one ride out of all the 15-20 rides in Joypolis is VR.

This is by far the most fun Arcade Center in Tokyo. You get what you expect, for one price you can play as much as you like on the arcades. Love it!

If you like indoor attraction, this will be one of best place to do. Most attractions have multi language explanation. You can go out of the park for lunch or shopping then cpme back again as far as you keep your ticket. This place is within big mall so you can enjoy.
