This center has everything, even its “own” airport for ease and convenience of access. Within the center there are plenty of food and drink options and the show itself (BETT) was exceedingly well attended.

The location of this hotel is good. Considering that one has to travel mostly by train within Tokyo, Excel City Hotel is close to Kameido station and hence is a good choice. The Italian restaurant within the hotel offered very good vegetarian food.
Stayed here 5 nights on a tour. Good location, about 4 blocks or so from the train station. Nice size room for Japan, nicely appointed. Our room was very quiet. Several restaurants nearby, and large department store near the train station. Enjoyed our stay.
Two blocks from Kameido Station. Lots of little restaurants serving noodles, sushi, etc nearby. 7-eleven across the street for atm. Pharmacy, grocery, dollar store nearby. Not really in a shopping area. Entrance off the alley around the corner from the main street. Rooms are tiny, but very clean. TV, free wifi, lots of nice creams, shampoo, etc. staff is friendly and can speak some English. Breakfast is a nice buffet with Japanese and western food. It is not too far from the Imperial palace. Walking distance to a beautiful Shinto shrine. It is about a 20 minute train ride to central Tokyo. Not much night life nearby (I didn't care), but easy to get to if you want it.
It was my first time to go to Japan.
I went to Tokyo for an official business trip last month.
Our company there made the arrangement and booked all the delegates on this hotel.
I stayed here for 5 nights and I must say that I was satisfied with my room and the quality of hotel service that they provide. Location is also ok. It’s just few minutes of walk from the nearest train station. So going out for a sightseeing or city tour was also a breeze for first timer/tourist like me due to accessibility of hotel to train station, Atre mall and many restaurants. I had everything that I need inside the very compact room…a clean place to stay, a comfortable bed for good night sleep, a mini ref, high tech toilet, shower, tv, aircon, internet connection, daily replenishment of bottled water, toiletries, slippers and a nice view of the Tokyo SkyTree tower from my room’s window. I also appreciate the buffet breakfast menu as well as the helpful and courteous hotel staff.
The hotel interior is quite beautiful in view of space limitations as is the case in Tokyo. The clerks were helpful, accommodating all our needs. Walk to the Kameido train station takes literally 5 minutes. There's also many nice restaurants and shops (including atre department store attached to the station).
Entrance to the hotel is either from the back or on main st which requires taking escalators (shared with the pachinko parlour next door) to 2nd floor then walking through hotel restaurant to take lift to respective levels or to 1st floor where reception is. Although not entirely convenient, it was manageable. A little embarrassing for passing through the restaurant however. The rooms are small-ish but all commodities are present. The complementary cosmetics were all made in Japan which was very special. All in all, it was a good stay and our family would consider staying here again for sure!
