Vest Grand Suites was a welcome surprise tucked in the city of Tagbilaran. From our pick up driver Grant, to Marites at the front desk to our tour driver Alden and the wait staff Darryl Anne and partner especially to the manager, Michael and his wife who prepared her own banana bread. A very safe, comfortable, affordable, clean, quiet place to stay and trust in Bohol.. Dark red hardwood floor that smelled of floor wax permeated thru the corridors, very spacious room with a double/single bed (#305) wifi accessible, no outside window comfortable air conditioned room..
Breakfast choices were corned beef, side of bacon, the local daing (dried fish) usual tocino, a vegetarian mushroom omelette for my vegetarian wife. More local choices could be better. Tang and coffee are part of the morning drinks. Customer service is very good, tours were arranged at the front desk upon request. Pick up to and from the airport/seaport is free. Spoke with Michael Ayos, the manager.. Very accommodating and open to ideas that will make their hotel better and more efficient for travelers. The hot/cold water could use some adjustment for a stronger shower.. We requested pandesal to be bought for breakfast and the staff complied with no service charge, otherwise white
toasted bread is served at the spacious breakfast area with TV. They gave my wife the remote to watch CNN.
Overall, a good experience at this place, a tricycle away from the main drag where grocery stores, pharmacy, restaurants abound.. Yes.. We would like to come back at this hotel.. Keep on eating and traveling.. Rolly H.
