From room reservation, pickup and drop off at the port, providing itinerary for our Bohol countryside trip, securing tickets for our next destination was so hassle free and no worries at all. An excellent service provided by the staff. Breakfast was on time, even our tour guide was on time. Like an old house converted to a hotel and don't expect an elevator but the staff can help carry your bags with you. A decent place enough to recharge.
Our tour guide is approachable, knowledgeable (he told us what to do and not what to do in every place we visit), with a good sense of humour, and patient. He's always ready and his good in photography. I forgot his name but he jokingly told us that his family are the tarsiers.

This hotel is located in a quiet and nice neighborhood on a nice street. The hotel has a very professional staff that will work with you via email or whatever means of communication you might like to use. This place offers free Continental (Philippine & Western Breakfasts). They also, provide lunch and dinner too (if interested). We however ate out. There are no elevators, but the hotel provides workers to carry your luggage to and from your rooms. This was a former Pension House that was converted to what is now the Vest Grand Suites. They also offer shuttle services direct from their front door to various interesting sites to see in and around Bohol. We were very satisfied with all that was provided to us. So, if you are looking for a quiet place without the hustle and bustle of staying at a beach resort which is quite more expensive than where we stayed, and, if you are older and don't like staying at a beach resort, this is the place for you to stay at.

I am retired and travel and stay in hotels all the time - I have never stayed at a worse hotel.
The room was small and smelly - I felt nauseous.
The sheets and linen were stained, old and threadbare.
The breakfast was mean and I was charged extra for receiving a single rasher of bacon - unbelievable.
The road outside is dirt, potholed and muddy - almost impassable.
There were no redeeming aspects.
This was my personal honest experience.
