This a basic place.when you arrive in sabang it is just 100m from the van arrivel. Go right. Left is the forrest with the dab dab etc. These are basic huts on beach front, basic means it is no luxus and yes maybe there can be bug sometimes. Clean! Basic! Bed,mosquito net, fan, small table. Small bath room. I loved it. It was the first acco i watched and i stayed! 600 peso per night or 700 with breakfast.

So the people are very verY kind. Maybe someone had a bad day in 2012.. You can have breakfast, lunch, dinner here. Grill at diner time. We did laundry too on this place. 100peso per kg. Fast and clean. Soo have a look at this place. For cheaper accoo just walk further on the path. Last resort called marys. 500peso very calm.

Savang is so nice. Dont rush, enjoy!

Roberts is the contracted restaurant to serve food to the day trippers that come on the coaches from Puerto Princessa to see the underground river, we were staying in Sabang for a few nights at the Green Verde (excellent) so went to Roberts for an evening meal. They have absolutely no interest in serving food to anyone in the evening despite being open. The young girl served with an attitude and when I asked what an item on the menu was she said 'I don't know, I'm not the cook!' The food was practically thrown at us and was awful (even more so we discovered the next morning!) There was no level of service, they were clearly not interested.

My trip to Sabang Beach was on the spur of the moment. Rather than taking tour package to visit the Underground River from Puerto Princesa, I chose to travel to Sabang to have a glimpse of the place. I had no room reservations, so based on good reviews at Tripadvisor, I walked straight to Mary’s Cottages which is located at the end of the beach. It turned out to be no vacant room available. Luckily, there was a small nipa hut available at Roberts which cost me PHP700 per night. Everything is basic here; no electricity from 12 midnight to 6pm, no hot shower, no aircon, no flush toilet... Cold water is refreshing!

The huts are overlooking the beach, there is a verandah to simply sipping drinks and enjoying the view of the ocean and people passing by. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I did not try their food so could not comment. Sleeping wise, quite good but take note that Sabang is a village - would be a problem for those light sleeper. But for the price I paid, I have no complaints.

I really love this place! Simple huts on the beach are what I groove on. Having the entire beach all to yourself is bliss.
