A bit out of Tokyo central but a lovely rural area and within 5 minutes walk of the train station. Limited but a great buffet breakfast and the rooms are fantastic. Spacious with good bathrooms, great assortment of tv channels. Recommended. I’d give them full marks if they had a gym.

The marvelous view outside the lobby stunned me in the first sight. The amazing service throughout the hotel especially the initiative call for restaurant availability when taxi reservation is asked. The big bath provides big whirling hot tub, steam room & dry sauna where you can enjoy a great bath. The great views are everywhere that all nicely designed. The breakfast is another plus because of the venue, view & variety. I will be back if I am in the area.

We were looking for a quiet, clean and safe hotel away from the city centre. It was a good choice, peaceful, professional and big rooms. Good service in the Okura tradition that you can expect. However, Akishima proves to be too remote from attraction. Even we have a car, it is driving at least more than 1.5 hrs for any attraction. The traffic congestion in surrounding areas is really bad, as NO city planning out of the Tokyo core. So the hotel itself was a good choice, if you can overcome the limitation of the location. Security is a an issue. You have to drop your key at the reception when you go out but NO question ask upon returning, just name a number and they will give you the key. Elevator not secured, so anyone can come and go and reach any part the hotel. Good old fashion security for the good old days. Staffs are nice and speak very good English!

My company booked this hotel for me and (at first I was afraid, I was petrified) was so very pleased by their selection. Clean, friendly staff, comfortable room with good temperature control. Front desk staff did everything to make my stay enjoyable. They ordered taxi's for me, gave me directions and recommendations on where to eat and filled my room amenities as many times as I needed. They provide free items in their mini fridges to include water, ice teas, beer, coffees and teas.

Wonderful centrally-located place for seeing the sights in Western Tokyo. Convenient shuttle service to the trains, and a comfortable room. Breakfast was plentiful; both Asian and international cuisine.

Room tip: Our room faced out over the gardens and koi pond. It was beautiful.
