Only a five minute walk from Tachikawa station, this hotel offers clean, comfortable rooms with free Wi-Fi and complementary breakfast. Also, right outside the door of the hotel is a convenient 7-Eleven, as well as many restaurants to check out and try some local cuisine.
This area of Tokyo is much quieter than Shinjuku or Shibuya, but still very Tokyo. It is on the same railway line (Chuo Line) as Shinjuku and Tokyo Stations.
If your travels take you to this part of Tokyo, I would recommend flying into an Haneda (HND)airport rather than Narita (NRT).
The trip from Narita by limo bus can take up to three hours, or you could take the Narita express to Tokyo station and transfer to the Chip line. Although this option is not much faster, at least you're moving constantly rather than sitting in traffic.
They travel time from Haneda (HND) is much shorter at about 1 1/2 hours.

The hotel has a great view of Mt. Fuji (on a clear day). Rooms are clean with ample amenities and convenient bathroom fixtures. Breakfast offers an good combination of Japanese and western food (coffee is likewise good). Hotel is very close to the monorail and JR Tachikawa stations, where shops abound.

Room tip: Upper floors will likely give a good view of Mt. Fuji on a clear day

The accommodations are good. The staff is friendly and courteous. Their English is in development but they are advanced enough to accommodate your discussions.

The breakfast in the restaurant is good also. A decent mix of Japanese and American foods

Room tip: The Wifi is spotty with Iphone but works great with Androids. IDK why

This is a quiet hotel within four minutes of the Tachikawa train station (which is, in itself a great place with tons of shopping/eating). Rooms are spacious (by Japanese standards) and the bathrooms nice with many free things that a traveler might need. It was very quiet. Front desk staff were, of course, pleasant and helpful. You can rent a laptop for ~$10 a day and the rooms have excellent wireless internet for IPads etc. The breakfast is varied and served in a pleasant and bright dining area. Food quality is OK--nothing exceptional. Ask for an odd numbered room on floor 9 or above and you might be treated to wonderful views of Mt. Fuji.

Room tip: Odd numbered rooms, floor 9 or above (maybe floor 8, not sure); bonus views of Mt. Fuji.

Very good hotel near Tachikawa station and monorail. Very good room service. All ladies amenities in the bathroom + room. I had a ladies room with breakfast included. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Room tip: Ladies rooms are on a floor totally dedicated to ladies. It's a high floor.
