I stayed 4 nights for business visit in Hachiouji. It was about $50 per night. Small room but very comfortable. Came with all amenities and staff are super friendly and service were excellent. Few months ago, I stayed at Marriott Hotel, down the street for $120 per night. It was nice but for 50% less, I could use the savings for something else. Great thing about this hotel is the location. Walking distance to both JR Hachiouji and Keio Hachiouji Stations. 3 convenient stores in the same block. You'll also find lots of great places to eat. 1 block form there is a Tonkatsu (fried pork cutlets) fast food restaurant offering breakfast for $4, Denny's breakfast for $3 and more. shopping and other activities are in the surrounding area. Great place to stay.

We chose this hotel as it was near to the Hachioji JR station, with a Nissan Rent-A-Car outlet just around the corner. This allowed us to return the rental car before catching a train with minimal hassle. We took a slightly better room option for 1 night, and it was quite spacious for Tokyo's standards. The only downsides for us were that we could not adjust the room temperature (as it was done via central heating), and we also had to pay an additional 1080 yen for overnight parking at the hotel in an electronic garage. We did not try the breakfast as it was not included in the room rates. Overall, it is a good and convenient hotel near the JR train station that met our needs.

This hotel is close to Keio Hachioji Station (2 min by walking) and JR Hachioji (10 min by walking). It is very close to Mount Takao.
Front desk can speak English and free fresh coffee. Breakfast is fine not to much, but it is OK. Cleanliness is fine. Nice Room, Nice Service,

A bit hard to find if you take the airport shuttle that stops at the main JR terminal but it is a quaint modern hotel situated in the suburbs of Hachioji. free coffee in the lobby, tiny work out room, lots of restaurant and malls nearby including quickie marts open 24/7. The rooms are small which is the Japanese standard but well equipped with a/c, mini fridge & full size bathroom with auto toilet basin. Housekeeping kept our room clean daily and the front desk staff help us arrange transportation on our last day as well as assist in shipping our luggage.
