I stayed in South Palms for 5 days with my wife and 10 years old daughter. This place is very close to the airport.
The service is great! As soon as we landed I received a call from the south palms driver to pick us up. The transfer and check in was smooth and they were nice enough to accommodate our room preference. They also take care of their guests really well. I had some back ache and asked them for hot water bag and they provided it promptly and even made some adjustments to our bed to make it hard. Another instance of how caring they are was when I told the chef that I tried Kongee(kind of rice porridge), he made it specially the day I was leaving . All The staff members are very polite. The breakfast buffet was a good spread and food quality was good.

The other interesting and exciting things were bamboo cycles, swings, resting swings, long sandy beach(with literally no one else), private swimming pool for the in house guests, happy hour for drinks and amazing blue ocean.

Their food menu is understandably limited due to the pandemic but food is reasonably tasty.
Overall it was great stay and we would like to visit again.

this property is along the Bulod Beach stretch in Panglao near Dumaluan Beach. It seems very safe and quiet, a perfect alternative to the hassle and bustle of Alona Beach.
the buffet breakfast at oceanica was great. they offered different fares every day.
the food at the beach bar is superb. fell in love with their artichoke dish and the farm chips. can live on those 2 offerings alone.
a must stay when in Bohol.

Room tip: garden view rooms are fine, though we did stay in a beach front room.

Had a 5-night getaway at South Palms Panglao just recently. Photos posted on their site and on their Facebook page are legit - no pretension, just a place you would want to visit time and time again. They have an unbelievably long private beachfront, and guests are free to use the hammocks and daybeds scattered across the property. Food is awesome (I tried dining at the resort next door but was left unimpressed). All basic room amenities included and there is a pillow menu available.

Resort staff are very courteous and helpful. Makes me think that they are well taken care of even during the pandemic.

Rooms are well maintained but are showing age. The bathroom drain always clogged, but I guess a simple repair would do the trick. Further, the food menu spread was rater limited, possibly due to the pandemic. These points for improvement aren’t really a dealbreaker though, and the good food plus 50% all-day happy hour are already more than enough to make up for these shortfalls.

If the guest census allows for it there is a breakfast buffet with carefully-selected food items.

Thank you, South Palms, for a wonderful break! I will definitely be back.

My partner and I took advantage of their promo. P4888 a night with RT transfers. Added extra to avail of their Spa and Dine.
They have a very wide and long shore and somewhat clean if not for the usual water plants washed ashore. The food is superb (just be ready for the price) but what I like about it was there's no F&B tax nor service charge! Happy hour (alcoholic beverages) all-day. I would choose this resort instead of those in the Alona beach. Worth every peso you would spend.

Room tip: Try Thai Basil resto a few steps away from the resort's entrance.

We stayed here for 5 days with my family (4 kids) and we didn't mind not having any tour around Bohol because our stay here was definitely amazing! Everyone was so helpful and proactive, always with a smile on their faces. They've been assisting me for months before our trip because of lockdown situations from our place and travel restrictions and they helped me all throughout. Hands down to the customer support.

If you need a place that is far from the crowd with A+ service and instagrammable spots, this is where you should check-in. Every corner is picturesque.

Things you can improve on: Restaurant food is very delicious but a bit pricey. Breakfast selection is limited.
We had our couples massage at the beachfront and it was amazing! It was the best we've had by far. The only thing is that we didn't get to totally relax because they were not able to control the noise from people swimming right in front of the massage area. We were there for an hour only so we would appreciate it more if they were able to control it even just for the duration of the service.

What we liked about this resort:
The service was amazing.
The resort itself is close to perfection.

Overall, our stay was incredible and we plan to go back here. We really fell in love with this resort.

Thank you, South Palms!

Thank you for taking the time in sharing your experience with us.

The entire team are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. We value your comments and we have noted them down for our action, especially your mention of the noise during your massage service , limited breakfast selection and pricey restaurant menu. We will discuss this with our team and see what we can do to improve this.

Still, we appreciate your good remarks about our staff and instagrammable spots. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back and to delight you again on your next stay.
