Will not eat here again...Not staying in the resort. Popped in for evening meal in the restaurant. The menu is varied but pricey. Both myself and my partner ordered a penne pasta dish and iced tea. The tea took 35 min to arrive and about 40 mins for meal..pasta was spaghetti (was told that's what they had made even tho not what we ordered) with an extremely sweet bolognese sauce on it an ok chicken breast (no parmasen /garlic bread arrived until I went to ask) all in all a very disappointing meal that we could not eat and that cost us 700 peso (for us very expensive)

it is true that the resort is few km far from downtown, but that's what makes the price accessible. The resort is very small, with very few bungalows but a huge swimming pool. Great if you want to hire bikes and see other parts of panglao. Nice breakfast included and staff really lovely. Rooms have aircon and are really clean, with service done daily. Definitely recommended!

Room tip: quite, clean, big pool

The resort is in a nice and quite place. The swimmingpool was amazing :). The room was big and clean. we slept very nice. Wifi was slow in the room. But okay in the restaurant and around the swimmingpool.
The resort is bit remote and you need a tuktuk to get to alonabeach/restaurants. They have a van and they bring you at 5 pm to alona beach and get you at 9pm. The staff are really nice and helpfull.

The resort is located a bit away from the prime resort beaches and bars but is in a well-lit, very safe almost rural location. So, it does not try to compete in terms of being the best or most expensive place but offers an honest, good value stay in a tropical setting, away from the madding crowd.
The service from Robert and all the crew was prompt and helpful, always with a smile. The included breakfast, while basic in scope, was quick to arrive and provided enough variation to keep us happy for our 8-day stay. The general menu provides a neat balance between Asian, Filipino and simple European cuisine, well priced, and always well prepared.
Momo Beach is actually only about 1km easy walk away, and this is a little known place to visit for those days when you don't want to join the crowds at Alona Kew. There is a nice pool for the end of a day touring or diving. The staff are happy to help with arranging the hire of motor scooters, taxis, tours, as well as providing occasional free shuttles to the Alona area.
Provided you are prepared to accept that this resort is not right in the thick of the social whirl, the Veraneante offers a homely atmosphere - and WooWoo the little black Pug is the star of the show!

Room tip: Wifi is available in the central parts of the resort, in the pool area, and the restaurant.

Nice pool, clean rooms and friendly staff! The trip to Alona beach is 20 mins and costs 200 pesos - we were mislead on the website so this wasnt ideal for us - but this made for a quiet night. Breakfast was good but basic, but overall for what we paid, it was a great one night stopover
