First and foremost, would like to thank Charo and reservations team for a quick reservation.

Our room was amazing with a wonderful view of the beach and the pool.

Dining experience was nothing short of impeccable. F&B was very attentive to the needs of the dining patrons including ourselves.

The only hiccup was during our check in was the concierge.

There was none to be found. (should be ready at all timea during weekends when occupancy is at its fullesr) We arrived late in the afternoon from going around Bohol and wanted to rest immediately. We look forward to our next stay here. Thank you so much once again.

Room tip: Ample parking spaces. Better to enjoy breakfast around 6 to 8am. After that it gets real packed.

Hotel was great! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The pool view room was super spacious enough for my husband, daughter and I. Free buffet breakfast with lots of options. Private beachfront access with free use of kayak and stand up paddle board. It was also great for our daughter who is 2. There was a separate area in the pool for her to play and even a huge children’s playroom next to the spa how convenient. There were also multiple fish ponds were you can buy food to feed the koi and tilapia fish that kept her occupied.

Having always wanted to go to the Philippines & finally being able to travel again we landed on Bohol & Panglao so we could experience the stunning beaches we had only seen in photo's - this was also a deciding factor in our choice of hotel wanting to be on the beach.

The setting is indeed beautiful & I am sure the hotel was a luxury resort in it's day but unfortunately 2 years of no tourism has left it a little tired around the edges in places. Don't get me wrong there were some lovely parts, in particular the main reception to the hotel & the huge room we had were well maintained, but there were also some tired areas the corridors around the rooms, the toilets off the main dining area with no toilet seats - not what you would expect in a hotel billing itself at the higher end of the budget scale. My husband tried to use the stand-up paddle board which had seen better days & was missing its fin!

In terms of location whilst away from the main beach area it has a number of other resorts & restaurants around the area you can walk to - we would particularly recommend Rojo on the beachfront or La Vara. Likewise, for a small cost we caught a colourful motorised tricycle to the main areas a couple of times & would thoroughly recommend Bar Woo, MIST & Bamboo Place.

We chose to go out most evenings as there was only one restaurant open during our stay & to be honest the drinks prices for the ambience & atmosphere in the bar could really not be justified, I appreciate it's a 'higher' end hotel but some of the local restaurants we visited were part of similar & newer resorts & did not charge the same prices.

We went on a couple of trips organised via the hotel, which were reasonably priced, in particular I'd recommend the boat trip we did to Balicasag, we swam with a turtle & fed fish & had a particularly memorable lunch on a sandbank with the sea lapping around our ankles drinking Red Horse beer & eating freshly grilled seafood.

I hope that with that the resurgence of tourism continues in the area & afford the hotel the chance to restore itself to its former glory.

And staying at the Bellevue Resort is even better! Rooms were spacious and comfortable, food delicious and service excellent. The resort was fully booked but did not feel crowded. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation away from the busy part of Panglao, then Bellevue is the place for you. Other Bohol attractions are easily accessible as well.

If you are just looking for a place to relax, this is for you. A little distant from the city. This hotel got everything you need so you don’t need to worry. Beach front, pool, bar and other amenities. The rooms we had is also spacious. There are also services that can take you to different tourist area.

Room tip: Research on places you want to visit and design your own itinerary. Don’t rely on the drivers recommendation.
