Last Tuesday, we visited Amorita and tried their Afternoon Tea. Me and my fiance love that the tea is just the right blend. Plus it was paired with turon, sandwich, torta and other pastries. Having tea while basking into the greenery and overlooking view was definitely a beautiful experience.

They serve western and Filipino food so variety is there. We had the calamari as starters, and for mains tuna grill, beef salipicao, pork belly and lastly for dessert we had chocolate tableau. The calamari was the highlight of the meal. We absolutely love it. It was well spiced. In terms of the mains the tuna out of the three was our favourite but the beef salpicao was a huge disappointment. It was hard to chew needs more time to cook. The dessert was plenty we couldn't finish it. Not my favorite but it was the only thing on the menu that looks "desserty".
I was a bit disappointed at the end of the meal because my friends who visited this place had a different menu and they couldn't stop raving about it. I had the photo of the food they had and showed it to the waiter but according to him they have changed their menu and those food were no longer offered.
The morning after we ate at Saffron restaurant in Amorita, Panglao, I became ill in what was food poisoning. I ordered a "local tuna steak". I'm completely convinced this was caused by the food at Saffron. This was the only "upscale" restaurant we visited during our stay in Panglao. We had no problems with smaller roadside eateries and street food on the island. Avoid Saffron at all cost.

burgers are good ,Bolognese salty ,calamari delecious,baked Mac and cheese too much cheese ,margarita pizza is ok ,tom yum going ok ,moussaka is poor ,they have open buffet look good.

Saffron Restaurant actually has recently introduced a new and improved menu that I'm sure will provide our guests with a better experience while dining at Saffron. You might want to try these new dishes for yourself and hopefully, this will give you a better experience. Not a great place for dinner. Food is okay, we finished everything because we were hungry and hadn’t eaten the whole day. But otherwise wouldn’t go back. Portions were small and prices are high.
Service was poor. Took them 20 minutes to bring a milkshake (which was sitting in the bar for more than 5 minutes because our waitress was too busy)
Breakfast buffet is also okay. Few local dishes along with eggs, bacon, cereals....
But they’re never ready at 6 when we were told that breakfast starts at 6. There’s only papaya in fruits and some of the food doesn’t even come until 7
