“Clean and Comfortable Resort with Pool”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 7, 2012

There were about 17 of us when we stayed in this resort. We rented a mountain view room, food for 3 people, and 4 nipa huts, good for 4 pax each. The beds are okay, no bugs, no smell and quite firm. However, the toilet in the mountain view room is cramped- like really cramped. The kubo huts have no toilets. Instead, the common CR's can be used.

The resort has a pool, a restaurant and island hopping services. The staff was accommodating. You can ask them to cook your food for a fee.

Overall, we had a comfortable stay at the resort.

Stayed here one night for work. Stayed a suite, a bit over priced but that is the way many resorts are here in the region. The resort is more like someones large house that is converted into accommodation. One of the bedrooms is just outside the kitchen and dining room and lounge room, where all the restaurant meals are made, guest eat their meals on a small dining table.

Pool is nice and clean. Right on the beach, which is good for surfing. Plenty of dog poo around though.

Restaurant quality is great, no problems with the food here. Although there shouldn't be, you can just glance over your shoulder and watch the cook cooking your food! It is an open kitchen, just like one in a residential house.

Rooms are ok. Basic, the usual rock-hard Philippino mattress, nice new renovated bathroom with good shower/hot water. Nice and clean rooms.

Free wireless wifi.

Overall, a bit overpriced but would stay here again.

I was given the task of organizing our barkada's summer getaway with an under 1.5k per pax budget for an overnight stay for 14.
After some research anawangin and capones seemed to be a great break from our yearly trip to laiya. so i called up a couple of resorts near the area to book an overnight stay and luckily pundaquit luxury had some new cottages for rent. So booked with joy for 3 cottages at 1500 per cottage that could accommodate 4. No a/c, no food.
Zambales is soooooo hot! arrived there at around 12pm. The cottages were ample. small rooms with 2 double decks with single beds and some with just a double deck (double sized beds). We didn't mind this since we're just gonna be sleeping here drunk anyway. The fan wasn't necessary since it was really cold during the night, we had to turn it off at around 2am. the staff were really friendly and also too eager to help you out with anything.
We went to anawangin cove in the afternoon. The place was a bit crowded with campers, but still had fun exploring the island and swimming in the clear waters. It's true that the island is beginning to get abused in a way. There should be an eco-drive here or something. Same is true for the capones island were vandals were everywhere, such a shame.
We cooked our own food. We brought in alot of fresh fish, cooked adobo, downed alot of booze and partied under the moonlight.

Overall expenses:
accommodation = (1500 x3) + 1000 for 2 extra beds = 393 per pax
food and booze = 2700 = 193 per pax
Boat ride = 200 each for anawangin and 130 per pax to capones
toll and gas = 300 per pax

total expenses = >1500.00
mission accomplished
