The facility is home of the famous musician in town as it shows a vintage collection of musical instruments hanging on the wall. Restaurant is being famous for local cuisine such as adobo sa gata, ulang ulang and kare kare. Inexpensive and excellent customer service.

Expensive for the quality. Casa de Don Emilio upstairs ia too slow. Food not so delicious. Few seating capacity. Some foods are not available. Will wait hours before served. Poor service. Eat elsewhere.

Food is great; really affordable price. Ambiance is soooo nice too — very homey. The only reason I am giving you a guys a 3 is because when we ordered pansit this afternoon, we were given “Ay wala pong magluluto.” in a very blunt tone. We were about to response back with “Diba restaurant kayo?” using the same tone when the old lady (seemed like to be the owner) approached us and contradicted the initial statement given by the cashier. Sabi nya, “Ano ulit order nyo?” Marami magluluto.” and that’s only when we were accommodate again by the cashier.

Kusina was a very homey place amidst the old town feel of Boac, and the clientele it attracts adds to the ambience of folksy familiarity. The interiors are rich with antiques and bric a brac to keep the conversations going while having the signature coffee. You should try the kari-kari, a dish that looks like curdled pork blood, and the talangkanin, together, their flavors were complimentary just like the locals told me.
