If you get to this beach before 2 p.m., during Holy Wk, it isn't too busy, but after 2 p.m., it is very crowded. Wind picks up after 11 a.m. and can take your beach umbrella sailing away if you don't anchor it. People were being brought in by the big bus loads with their tables, chairs, umbrellas, food, kids, boom boxes, etc. The parking lot was full by 2 and people were waiting for someone to leave. There was some Mexican guy selling toilet paper outside the washroom, so bring your own. Lots of vendors on the beach, but not too pushy. It's a beautiful beach with soft sand and a warm breeze to keep you cool. Loved it.
